  • In this video, I am replacing the damages that have occurred from the car's passenger side rear view mirror hitting the main line and wiping out a portion of the bridge on the garage door.

Thank you. When it finally was completed, my wife was amazed by her car and my car still fit inside the garage.

I was going to write ingenious, but that’s been taken… Incredible, so creative! I’m an O-goauger and how you managed that with those tiny tracks is simply beyond belief!💪🏽

INGENIOUS! THIS is why YOU'RE a modeller and I'm just a model railroading enthusiast that likes to run trains versus building anything for now. Wow, you just solved what might've been a big problem for those with garage layouts. Excellent! Have been subscribed since I saw your Bart videos years ago and BTW, Rapido is releasing a new Bart set soon I think. Bravo to you!

Thanks Mark. Yes, I remember you bro. I have the Rapido BART Trains on pre-order. I plan to make a video when I get them, but I will need to customize a few things on them prior to.

I'm just curious. Did you have to adjust the power at the back of the lift motor to accommodate the extra weight on the door? My garage door is 25 feet wide, custom aluminum built. When I added the foil garage door panels to insulate the garage door I had to adjust the lift motor for more power to offset the added weight. If you look into the foil panels for your garage door you might solve some of that track expansion.

Thanks, but no, I didn't make any adjustments to the power. I did; however, add another support beam to the last panel for a bracket to support the curve. Lastly my garage door is 16 feet wide. I think the panels you are suggest will help adjust the temperature, but I'm okay with the breeze that comes in for the time being. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for viewing.
