I have been down the Emma rabbit hole since Voila. It's a wonderful place to be. I just can't say how much I love and respect this extraordinary young artist. Not only is she incredibly talented musically, but she is a very brave young warrior and inspiration for everyone suffering adversity in their lives.
For your next reaction to Emma, I suggest her first original release of Laat Mijn Een Vlinder Zijn (Let Me Be a Butterfly) in which she expresses her deepest desire to be free and unfettered from the restrictions imposed on her by gastroparesis.
The song is from a couple of years ago when she was 13 or 14. It is a high quality and well produced video easily found on RUclips. She is singing in Dutch which is a beautiful language in song.
Very nice reaction to Hallelujah. She did indeed make it her own, as she does with every song she performs. All the best.

Emma turns 16 on March 12th. Each year her voice will become stronger. Enjoying my travels watching her videos. She is beautiful inside and out. Kind heart, precious, silly at times as she is a teenager and I love her interviews. Sweet smiles she gives.❤️🤗

Today was the replacement of the Mickey button which holds the tubes in her stomach. Very painful for twenty minutes while it is pulled out. She is fine now. I follow her story and she is an amazing fighter and of course a fabulous singer. Thank you for reacting. Check out Come Back Home she did last year in her little studio.❤️

Excellent response! It was indeed a beautiful setting and one of the most beautiful performances I have heard. Emma gives it her own twist with respect to the original.

Possiblly a bit late in the season now, as has been commented, MAX didn't quite give her the volume on her microphone, and they tried to make up for that a few days later, she did a studio interview with her, it did appear on RUclips for a few days, but then got taken down, and at the end of the interview she sang a slightly different version of Hallelujah, with only a piano accompamiment, and she gave it everything, and it shows, a sublime performance that is so powerful, even if you don't review it, you will for sure enjoy it, the video can be found at ruclips.net/video/20gXikNRjbo/видео.html
What's proving very encouraging is that Andre is gently expanding Emma's envelope, she's clearly got perfect pitch, and has no problems singing a capella absolutely on key, even without an introduction note of any sort, which means he can add the orchestra and other singers with no problems, a beautiful song in German, another language she's fluent in, from the first series of concerts in the New Year, it has to be seen as two different audience capture videos to get the full song, it's so good, she comes on stage, and with a cheeky smile, raises a finger to indicate she wants quiet, which they give her, and then she's away, and Andre builds the song so well, and if Emma singing a capella isn't enough, when the entire orchestra, the sopranos and tenors are all involved, Emma then does a beautiful counter harmony verse, in 15 years of watching Andre I can't remember him giving a guest star such a prominent role as he's already giving Emma, and this is only the start of what I hope will be a very good year in terms of new or updated performances, I don't think he's every had a singer with a voice like Emma has, and being the consummate showman he is, I am sure he will be only delighted to let her soar as high as she's capable of, it will be so good for both of them.

A very powerful song from her home studio, she recorded it for tube feeding week, a subject she feels very strongly about, it's a Miley Cyrus cover, 'The Climb', and it's an absolute belter of a song. ruclips.net/video/dOhzlDEuCBg/видео.html
Another song that has a lot of meaning for her is a Disney cover of a song from 'The little mermaid, 'Part of your world', where Ariel is expressing her desire to leave the water and walk on land, to move into a different life experience, which a very deep heartfelt aching desire for Emma, to be free of the 22 hours a day tube feeding regime is so deep for Emma, the song is at

A closing heartfelt plea to everyone reading these comments.
Emma's foundation can be found at gastrostars.nl
If at all possible, please join me in making a (regular) donation to her foundation, to enable them to help patients like Emma, and research this awful disease, and hopefully find a cure.
One of their main people is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in dealing with gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day.
It would be wonderful news to hear that they have been able to change the outlook for Emma and others, it would be tragic if Emma were unable to continue to sing like she does, while she looks stunning on stage, her stamina is not good, so it is a very delicate balance to maintain her health, it would be so good to hear that the situation has been changed by the work the foundation are doing, Emma would then be free to spend more time doing what she loves so dearly.

Nice response video, Emma is great. Very proud of her. I found another song (especially for her) called Let me be a ButterFly. It is a Dutch song, but you can find the lyrics on the internet and translate them. Every time I post the link here my comment is deleted... So let's do some searching for yourself...

X-mas 2023. Gospel choir. Brilliant. Although de audio-editing should have been better. But does not really matter. The thing is that she brings emotions across.
Check out 'Come back home' for an another view on her capabilities.

How do singers sing like this I always wonder. Are they mentally thinking through everything they are singing and where the beats are? Or is it just coming out of them from lots of practice, like instinct to know where to hit which notes? it just seems so complicated of a song from a non-singer watching it.
