2001 in my opinion was the most important rally in UK history and not sure how is not in this list. Makkinen, Burns, McRae and Sainz all in contention for the championship that rally.
RIP colin and great video
No. Don't you dare! I pray he doesn't rest in peace. Because of his stupidity, a child and a mother lost their lives.
When one is in command of a vehicle, he is responsible for all the lives in that vehicle. He is responsible for the safety of the people. May he not rest in peace. May he relive that crash over and over again till the day every living soul is dead and then may he relive that crash some few folds more.
A-fuckin-MEN
Poor Mikko. Lost because of a $5 hood part 😱
In 2009 Miko should have been alowed to pass JML in Sardegna, then if it wasn't for JML mistake on the final stage in Poland Miko would have arrived in GB with not 1 but 5 points in hand. So it was not a matter of a 5$ part, but most of all mistake in strategy in Italy, and lack of luck in Poland. PLUS! Citroen ordered Rautenbach, Ogier and Novikov to back of and let Loeb pass for the 10th place and a single point. JML mistake gave Loeb 2 points. At that point of the season Malcolm was already aware of the stakes, and probably also of his awfull mistake from Sardegna, and asked his guest starting in M-Spot Focus Krzysztof Hołowczyc, to lest Hanning Solberg and Matt Wilson pass, for a better points for Stobart team, to teke those points from Citroen and II Citroen (I don;t remember the name of the seconf Citroen team).
@@KamilMB miko who?
@@jounaas Mikko Hirvonen, loeb's main rival after gronholm's retirement
In 1995 and 2009 team orders cound have been avoided and the seaosn would have not been such drama. In 2009 Miko should have been alowed to pass JML in Sardegna, then if it wasn't for JML mistake on the final stage in Poland Miko would have arrived in GB with not 1 but 5 points in hand. In 1995 it was just the mentioned Spain.
It is also noticable, that both in 1995 and 2003 Subaru won, and today the lack of blue cars on stages is probably the sadest think aside from lack of the most succesfull manufacturer in history of WRC - Lancia.
hell no! you miss 2001. best of them.
Did you not watch in 2001, Colin v Richard v Tommy v Carlos the ultimate fight for me.
97 was also pretty tight as well. I wouldn't include 03, because of Richard's illness occurring on the eve of the rally. And he was still in with a slim chance of the title, so it would of been a 4 way battle.
But I suppose Red Bull never sponsored Richard Burns at any point, did you?
In Poland it is a costum not to speek badly of dead, but Burns was not a likeable guy to non-British fans.
Where is 2001 WRC Wales British Rally Finale Championship Climax with Colin McRae Ford, Tommi Makinen Mitsubishi and Richard Burns Subaru triple way Championship 2001 crown and 2007 Wales British Rally Finale Sebastian Loeb Citroen C4 Vs Marcus Gronholm Ford Focus RS
Of all the times a Toyota Engine could fail, it HAD to be at that point. Sainz must still be fuming.
Moya is, so Sainz probably too.
So it seems like Loeb could have been a 10 time world champion of Sainz hadn’t binned his car in a welsh ditch

Surprised 2001 was not included in this list 4 drivers were in contention for the title Makkinen, Burns, McRae and Sainz.

What about 2001
Richard Burns, my favorite driver.
What? You didn't mention Richard Burns challenging in 2003 or his WDC in 2001? Shocking omission considering he was personally sponsored by Red Bull for years! What a crap video!
