So if using a Kemper in a band what kind of speaker is used? I cant seem to find a clear answer. I heard not to use an actual cab...so does this mean push it through a PA?

I run direct into the PA. That gives you the best tone. You could also use a full-range speaker cab (vendors are coming out with those now) if you want a cab on stage. All of our packs do come with Merged profiles that allow you to use an old-school guitar speaker cab, but the tone will be colored by whatever speaker is in your cab.
