Joe Bonamassa clarified that he will NOT be buying Rory Gallagher’s famous Fender Stratocaster guitar, when it comes up for sale at auction in the coming weeks. Joe's press event at the Oliver Plunkett bar in Cork city Ireland on Monday, September 30th, 2024, was eventually limited to members of the press only, but Joe kindly took the time to come downstairs afterwards and speak to members of the public, who waited patiently in the main bar to see him, during his short, appreciated visit to Cork. Joe announced his 2025 gigs to be performed in Cork July next year, in celibration of Rory and his renowned Irish tour ‘74 album. Live At The Marquee, on July 1 & 2, 2025.
