After days of looking at at most of your other videos, I just saw this one🤣🤣. . ps. I am not a RUclips professional, but if it is possible, you should pin this as the fist video a new subscribers sees, its a great intro. As always, All your videos are on point, clear are detailed.
Hi I am a drafting Technician focused on plumbing drawings. I have been using revit for 2yrs self taught. I rely heavily on youtube videos. Your videos have helped with many things that have made drawings more efficient. Thanks and i'm looking forward to more plumbing videos.
Hi Alex, I´m Electromechanical Engineer, I live in Republic of Panama, Central America, and you are precisely right.... there are not enough info regarding how to design or coordinate MEP design using revit, navisworks and Autocad MEP. In Latinamerica there are mostly MEP engineers that design only in 2D without coordination and isolated design. I love your BIMitUP channel and learn a lot, but people really must learn peer to peer with professional MEP engineers. In latinamerica, mostly arquitectural modelers are the ones who explain how to model MEP in revit, but they are not MEP engineers designs, there´s a lack of information regarding MEP... I hope you continue with your channel and wish you success on it, so i´ll continue learning from u.... Happy holidays and blesses!!!
I practically must learned by myself watching a lot of MEP videos to get better my workflow... I have 7 years on BIM modeling world, but 3 years learning Revit only... there´s a lot of time.
True. Well, that is precisely why I started BIMitUp. There is a lot of information out there for Architects, but not too much for us MEP consultants. Stay tuned for more cool stuff, and spread the word! =)
@@joshualeguisamo8495 Well, at least nowadays there is some information in RUclips and other platforms. You should have seen how this was in 2007, 2008 lol
Does anyone have any experience with AutoCAD MEP and Hydracad/Autosprink? Can you tell me how AutoCAD MEP stacks up? I really like Hydracad, but I can run AutoCAD MEP on my newer Mac, so I won't have to spend 2500 on a new computer....
Hi. Take a look at my previous reply. If you want to take advantage of BIM for automated calculations, the Revit module from Hydratec or Autosprink are powerful. If you are just doing manual input for your hydraulics and you want to just draft your sprinklers/piping/pump, then you can use AutoCAD MEP (but then you have your hydraulics disconnected from your actual geometry). Good luck

I thought I had it setup like that. Anyway, you found the Channel. That's what matters. Keep learning 👍
Thanks Alex!! So useful!! You teach very clear and convert it very simple to us. I'm glad for this channel
.
Happy to hear that!
Hi..im from malaysia..love ur video sir ! keep it up..i learn so many new things in ur channel since im self learn..
So nice of you. Stay tuned

Hi Alex, thanks for offering this great opportunity to learn and master BIM subjects, your videos are clear and helpful, so good
My pleasure!
Very good, i agree 💯💯
Thank you!
Thank u!
You're welcome!
PLZ, PROVIDE PLUMBING TUTORIAL FOR BEGAINERS FROM BASIC
Hi Anmol.
I will be creating a full tutorial from Revit 101 soon. Stay tuned.

@@bimitup So, I'll have to do manual hydraulic calcs if I design with AutoCAD MEP? Ok, thanks. I think I can work with that.
Best!
