So I did the "pull out of your spine" trick for the entirety of class yesterday and my teacher would not stop complimenting me! Thank you so much for these tips! I had the BEST class ever since I started ballet back in August!
i know im asking randomly but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my password. I would love any help you can give me.
the not bringing your arm out to the side in a prep is so helpful☺️I never thought about that before but literally trying that tip for the first time was already so successful
I have been a ballet teacher for many years and everything you are saying is what I have always taught my students. Glad to see when I say do it my way and I have excellent turners that I am correct. It worries me when I see teachers who just teach to turn anyway you can and not the correct way.
@@biancamcflurry9206 for me i imagine like that i am on a pole or something s that i stay straight which usually means i pull up to stay on the pole idk if that makes any sense 😂
The most I’ve ever done was four pirouettes ;-;..........in ballet slippers... I haven’t even gone en pointe yet, but I want to know before >:3. I go en pointe in about 5-8 months
@@ap9796 yeah! Though I’m taking a small little break from ballet due to school work, but pointe is really fun and sometimes I dancing in pointe shoes sometimes lol
I'm in a dance school and started ballet this year (I'm more into jazz), so classes are quit difficult for me, also it's a professional training so our teachers are very strict, their advices are the same as yours however having it explained by a student who figured it out kind of alone and giving advices nicely - not like making you feel bad about your dance - is very helpful and precious, thank you for this video :)!
I’m 16 and I just started ballet a year ago. Right now I’m in intermediate ballet. I’m not on point yet, I can only do one pirouette, if I try for a second I almost fall on my landing or I just get unbalanced . I’m gonna keep these tips in mind when I go to class. Thank you 😊❤️
Idk how you are now but to get to a double it's just one extra head, so once you've done a single stay pulled up and do an extra head and you can start to get better xx
The tip of piviting on the heels in 4th position and finding passe at the 1st quarter of the turn really helped me! I found that I felt more stable and was able to do a triple turn on flat. I cannot wait to try en pointe!!
This is so helpful, thank you 💗 a lot of teachers have been telling me the same things and that's why turning more than two don't really work 😅 especially with the arms!!
💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃Awesome Tutorial & Video👋👍👍👍😀😀😀😀👍👍 Could you do an ballet shoe comparison video?? Thr difference between pointe shoe & ballet slipper. & how the shoes arch the foot differently. Thank💗You
Oh so so thank you for the tips !!! Im 40 and I do sometimes 3 pirouettes, and just with the tip of the arms I Can do 6 know !!!! So merci beaucoup !!! :))) Continue this way,you are awsomme !!! :)))
I have got 6 in normal half soules but ill be have pre pointe shoes next year and the then pointe the following year. And I will have no idea so this helps ALOT.
Omg tysm for this! It really helped me I can finally do more than one turn as I usually can only do one! (I know it’s barely any😂) Edit omg I did three turns lol yay
Where would you suggest to go for ballet classes? I am planning on taking ballet classes soon so I want someone with experience to help me find good classes.
Wonderful turns and explanations:) This is what I found interesting. I noticed that your left foot is pointed above your knee, not at the knee or below the knee, as some teachers teach. A lot time ago, in dance class, I couldn't turn, but then when I put my foot higher, above the knee, I could turn better. However, the teacher corrected me, and told me to lower my pointed foot to below the knee. Again, my turns just were not happening. Maybe pointing the foot higher above the knee also helps keep backs straighter. Anyway, thanks for showing that pointing the foot above the knee is fine.
I love how I don't ever do ballet but still watch all of your dance tutorials, like I find them so interesting, you're just such a beautiful dancer! P.s I've started making videos now if you wouldn't mind stopping by and watching one? Lots of love Mackenzie X
i had a really bad injury bc my old studio sucked and now i’m scared to do any turn or anything single footed en pointe. i can do pirouettes and chanes and piques en pointe but im scared ill injure myself again. how do i get that mental block out. bc i kind of need to do chanes and piques at least
Her: making it look so easy and explaining how to do it Me :almost falling into my counter trying in my living room not even doing one full turn and giving up laughing at myself while my dog watches in disappointment

Omg thx!! Did my triple in class! Never really happens💝💝
It’s been 8 months!! If you are on pointe... how is it feel you???

When explaining “going up” I try to imagine that I’m a puppet and there’s one string pulling up though my core and back
It really helps for me
Thankssss!!this helped so much💕💕
That’s what my teachers always say! It rlly helps
Everyone keeps telling me that, but it’s not helping. I don’t know what to do
@@biancamcflurry9206 for me i imagine like that i am on a pole or something s that i stay straight which usually means i pull up to stay on the pole idk if that makes any sense 😂

I had to quit ballet because I kept dislocating my kneecap but I still watch your videos because you’re a really good dancer 🥰🥰♥️
aw im sorry but thank u!💕
Is it hard to dance on pointe on top of concrete? I feel like it would be hard on your feet/ankles but I’ve never tried so I never knew?
Yes it hurts a lot I got cuts all over my toes bc I do it a lot
Well, for one, you should never be dancing in pointe shoes on concrete, that will ruin them. Two, pointe always hurts, no matter where.
You are so helpful and inspiring!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I loved it so much and we are waiting for the other video with the costumes ♥️♥️ Between I always wanted to do the bluebird variation
Oh so so thank you for the tips !!! Im 40 and I do sometimes 3 pirouettes, and just with the tip of the arms I Can do 6 know !!!! So merci beaucoup !!! :))) Continue this way,you are awsomme !!! :)))
