"One of us". definitely a sad day for all of us at Predatory Fins. As the title says, "new beginnings are not always easy", all we can do is keep pushing forward.

Thats really sad, I remember losing my TSN from a power outage after having him for 3 years. Was like losing a dog. Hand fed, never bit me, his whiskers could tell my fingers from the food i held. Could even pet him if i wanted. Large fish are super intelligent and personable. Cant imagine losing an arapima
almost lost mine of 3 years too a few weeks back. freaked out during a water change and his swimbladder got damaged. started flipping everywhere it was a miracle he got better overnight

I'm so sorry about the aripaima I remember how long it took you to mourn the other one. This move will be good for business but personally you have had to give up alot of your fish which is very hard. But you will be able to get them and others you have wanted and grow th hem up together for all of us to enjoy. Kevin is a good man to be your partner he loves the fish the way you do. So glad you are together and can now help each other so you both can take a day off to be with your family which you couldn't easily do when you both had separate businesses all uphill from here plus alot of hard work getting tanks and plumbing done. Very sorry to hear about you losing your Arapaima. Such a beautiful fish and you grew it from a baby. That's rough man but I think you are right about stress being a killer. Us fish keepers know stress can either kill fish or make them ill following which they can die from later even if they don't get better. It's hard. All the best though as you keep trucking on

Horrible loss, but a great experience to showcase the fish and show how fast the new one grows, and the size they put on yearly; I’m sure the hobby has people who have them and cannot house it long term.

I know that feeling of loosing a fish. When my arapaima jumped through the net of the tank and died because someone threw bleach in the tank was very hurtful for me. I have another and I wish I can get another.

Hey sorry for the loss of the arapaima. There's a place in Queens where you can obtain them. The place is called Monster Aquarium. As of yesterday they had 6 of them at around 10 to 12 inches. Check it out. Love your channel brother.
