@rileyp3707 Yeah and I think their take is smoother-brained than the hamster's mech. Maybe a rollout can be learned, but the same can be said of Lucio. Actually maximizing your rolls in combat, angling and retracting to hit as many enemies as possible, shooting mid-air beforr timing a piledriver, perfectly utilizing rebound techs, double boops, wall bounces... none of that is memorization. Ball and Zenyatta on the same tier is actually surreal.
I would love to see one of these guys double boop with ball. Hell be consistent with double boop in a custom game vrs a boop training boot. "you just have to know how and you can learn it in a day"??? wtaf? Ball learned in a day...
I think the point with ball is that the skill side of it isn’t as hard as the knowledge side of it. The best ball players in the world are better than everyone else cause of their game knowledge for that hero not skill. Ball players in diamond can pull off a lot of the tech, I’ve seen it. I’m a low Diamond tank and even I can pull off a decent amount of tech but I also feed heavy on the hero cause I try to do to much. Ball skill wise is nowhere near as hard as knowing what you’re supposed to be doing at all times on the hero.
Yeah not only does ball require you to actually aim more than most other tanks, he requires faster paced decision making than any other tank besides maybe Doom. He plays so much differently than any other character with how fast he gets in and gets out to the point that you’re basically learning a new game when you play him.
I’m glad they agree on Sunstrike being way too large and easy to eat. Just can’t do anything with the ult at the moment, if it’s not D va it’s sigma or Orisa. And then when you hit, the amount of charcaters that cleanse themselves means if you aren’t hitting a 3 or 4 person strike, you got a high chance your targets just cleanse themselves
I'm watching this episode while y'all are live on the new episode, but these episodes are my absolute jam. I could watch these tier list type episodes endlessly forever.

You guys keep grading some heroes on current balance. This is not a balance tier list right? ''Brig is so hard because she's weak atm'' That's just stupid if you don't to the same to other heroes. Also for some heroes it's all ''you can do so much, so that's really difficult'', but for Kiri you put forth a playstyle of somebody who just hides with the team and healbots..? How is that fair lol. Now Brig and Kiri are in the same tier of difficulty? That's insane. Same with Illiari, SHE IS A HERO WITH A AUTO HEAL TURRET, REDUCED HEADSHOT MULTIPLIER AND MASSIVE BULLET SIZES. What the fk?
They put Ram as the easiest tank because they shifted a lot of power into his block, I wouldn’t take this so seriously as these guys seriously have Gold level takes.
Didn't they say totally the opposite about the balance state of Brig? I think they said that Brig is very good now (the reason being D.Va being in the meta). Maybe you heard something like "Brig is weak COMPARED to the old OW1 days"
I love that you ranked Ball lower than Doom and then talk about how the best players in the game don't shoot Doom. "Dooms harder to get value if counter play him". Check the leader boards of top 500 since OW2 release and you will find Doom is fairly common and there are almost no Ball players. EDIT: FFS you put Sigma in the same tier as Ball and JQ... you can't be serious.
A Sombra player was spawn camping my duo in diamond the other day on colloseo. Certain elements of alot of heroes can be very low skill. And for some heroes. Those low skill elements can actually lead to effective gameplay. Like invis + virus on a target that's reloading or isolated.
So essentially you think Ram is the easiest tank in the game because they shifted too much power into his block. I mean this whole tierlist lost credibility as soon as you put Ball in A tier but holy hell this is cringe.
Hero bans wouldn't have the purpose that you want. They are to constrain the enemy team, not to ban heroes that your teammates want. You already have the power of words to do that
Go ahead, explain ANYTHING in lifeweavers kit that is even remotely hard every character in D tier deserves to be there except maybe reaper id put him in C + drop dva to C and kiri to A and doom and ball to S
The consideration for Echo in S tier is definitely because of the Ult, but I don’t think it’s solely reliant on someone’s proficiency with other characters. Echo’s Ult breaks game mechanics, it transcends hero limits and role lock. Knowing who and when to copy is massively important, even relative to other impactful Ults, imo. I would have rocked with 4 in S, 4 in D
the biggest cap in overwatch is that tracer is the hardest hero. especially when u consider her power level shes the most broken hero in the game it takes so much more skill for a genji or doom or ball to dominate a game the way tracer can. it can be tough to land her ult but she farms it so fast it doesnt matter u just get a new one before other heroes farm their ults. also she is the most protected hero from nerfs in the game shes always one of the strongest heroes in every season. fuck tracer.
I do agree with Scott in a,way with Junk. You do need some logic that not everyone has. Still, he's probably no higher than B. But the hardest overall heroes are Supports..which I think makes sense
The overwatch bias is and forever will be the most absurd concept in human history. This game has conditioned people to hitscan subtract points simply for being hitscan which is actually insane
I mean coming from someone who plays way more military style fps games and OW being the only ability heavy game I play. Even I think that hitscan is easier than aiming random projectiles or abilities. 1 is point and click and the other is calculating the various arch’s, speeds and sizes of the projectile and then try to predict where the target is going to be to land that shot or ability. Hitscan is way easier than that. It’s not just some OW bias. That’s even true in real life. Landing a long range arrow or throwing a football long distance is much harder than shooting a gun.
Think about it this way: heroes like Ashe, Widow, Soldier, all are threats from long range. They don’t necessarily have to be at risk in order to get damage/elims. Heroes like Tracer/Genji MUST put themselves at risk to get dmg/elims. The more aim intensive heroes usually don’t have to think about anything other than clicking heads, aside from making sure they aren’t in an egregious position.
Hell naaa. Rein and Orisa belong to D. Winston and Dva was hard in OW1. They are ridiculously easy and op in OW2. Mobility is just way too strong now. Sigma was/is always overtuned so while theoretically he is hard but in reality he is easy af snorefest tank. Doom also easy since S9. JQ and Zarya fairly hard heroes. They are punishable, they need to manage cooldowns, read the game, have good aim and some techs. Ram lack skill ceiling as his kit is weak and unimpactful. One of the weakest and most overrated tank in the game. Easily counterable, punishable and doesn't have any lethality. Very predictible damage capabilities. Good tempo tank concept but bad execution as he is too weak almost all the time. In a healthy game, Ram, Sigma and Winston should be your strongest staple tanks. Sigma and Winston both are there but Ram is significantly weaker. You can look at pickrates/winrates and T500 leaderboard to confirm this. Let's hope they pull back dva, winston, sigma, rein next patch. Also Tracer and Genji cheezy af. This is not old OW anymore. These heroes aren't that hard in this dumbed down game. Their pickrate and winrate also confirms this. A real hard hero is Sojourn which has terrible winrate since her release. Not Genji who has one of the highest pickrate and winrate both at the same time.
Ok. Win rate is not synonymous with how hard a character is AT ALL. If genji is really fun. Then obviously the people that are willing to play him in ranked have probably practiced him a lot and grind his combos. Which is why you see so many own trick genji mains. You don’t see one trick sojourn mains tho. And that’s because her difficulty is more nuanced. Also. Bad characters have low win rates. That doesn’t mean they are the hardest
@@brycenb2994 It means harder to me if my odds of winning the match is lower. OW is a dumbed down game and doesn't really have hard heroes. There are heroes with high skill ceiling but they are also busted af and get a lot of value at their skill floor without really mastering the hero.
