This backpack looks so awesome! Thank you for showing it. However, now I need someone to mix it with the Minaal like this: design - PX size / litre and opening up the main compartment for packing just like the Minaal! *a match made in backpack heaven*
Chase, looks like the slightly smaller Invisible Bag 2 has a quick access pocket on the top lid. Also the 2 has two small hidden pockets on the side without a larger zipper covering them. I really enjoy your reviews, thanks
Can you do a review of the Invisable 2, I think it has a quick access pocket on the top. The Invisable 1 looks interesting too but has an angled pocket in front.
Can you do a PX Invisible TWO review (2018 edition)? Fixes your issues about the quick access pockets and front pocket within a pocket, mercy d'avance!
I LOVE your bag review videos Chase! Especially the screaming man voice hahaha! I also like well-made, highly functional and ridiculously practical bags for travel. I think a medium backpack for a long trip around Japan would be great while a small day carry backpack plus a medium luggage for big city travels like London and Dubai where I tend to shop. Binge watching your bag reviews now. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! SUBBED!
Looks like a good alternative to the GR1 if that bag is too expensive/tacticool for you. The large dump pouch might cause difficulties accessing your junk over time, but the extra exterior pockets are nice.
Don't give me the credit, I didn't invent the term! My bag-lust evolved out of bug-out-bag / prepping interest which is where I picked it up. My bag-lust has since transformed into more of an interest in just carrying essential items with me comfortably, without looking like a dingus. I've been using a GR1 and Ona Messenger for probably 5 years now. About to replace the Ona with a Fjallraven Greenland Briefcase (which I have had on backorder for 3 months) and I have high hopes for it. Still love the GR1, but I'm growing out of the tacticool aesthetic. I review my time with the GR1 at length here: leftbrainplague.tumblr.com/post/157447867858/review-gr1-rucksack
Hey I really enjoy your videos. I'm considering buying the Nomatic Travel Bag and really would like to hear your opinions on it, do you plan on reviewing it or are you waiting for them to send you one?
I might want the lighter color fabric around and inside the small pockets for contrast to more easily see small items. Also, given the low profile design and black-on- black scheme, did you have any trouble finding or accessing the zippers in day to day use?
Hey Chase, Just watched tons of reviews, curious if you've found anything one bag travel backpacks that aren't functional black? Something made out of waxed canvas or something that is also functional? Also would love to see a review of the Nomatic Travel Bag clicks a lot of boxes for me but would love to see your take on it. Thanks
I'd say if you really like the look of this invisible backpack and dislike the look of the Synapse 25, you'll like this more. But Synapse is made better, better materials, more organization pockets, etc. So, it all depends on what you want to use the bag for. Biggest difference is aesthetics. Both will last a long time, both can fit loads of stuff, both have enough pockets for organization, but with different intentions.
hey Chase awesome video ! Love this design but have some reserve to pursuit it. could you do a review on the Patagonia Black Hole 25L it is really similar to the px 3 ? cheers
hey chase i'm planning on buying this bag but I'm not sure if my laptop would fit. It's a 15.6" laptop with dimensions 1.3” (33mm) x Width: 14.88” (378mm) x Depth: 10.38” (261mm)
Would you consider reaching out to the company of or investing on the Velomacchi brand backpack? The engineering looks insanely comfortable and they design it to be sleek, quick-access/quickdraw with no "dongles" hanging loose where adjustments are available. :p
Hey Chase, have you looked at the MEI (Mountain Equipment Inc) packs? The Voyageur and Convertible are likely candidates for the one-bag travel type use, a little on the big side (40-45 liters), but they're rather affordable and have that ~70's retro kind of look to them. I'd love to hear your opinion on them
Love it how you mix philosophy, lifestyle and damn bags. Also all the small details on the video, like pausing the music to emphasize something (usually a joke). Question: do you actually use the bags before reviewing them?
easy now broheim. Love your videos. Did you ever get around to making a comparison of the single bag travel bags (minaal, tortuga, aer, patagonia)? i'm buying one of them soon and JUST. CAN'T. DECIDE!!!!!!!! muchos gracias!
Soon! Getting my hands on more of the essential bags now... Minaal for sleek, aer for affordable, patagonia htc for space, tortuga for straps and pockets. You could survive any of these easily. Minaal's got least space, but in use it's REALLY good... but it's a stressor for folks who can't pack minimally. Choose accordingly.
As a teacher, so someone who lugs around a lot of papers, laptop and a small first-aid kit, I can tell you that you can get away with very little. I'd love a bag like this as long as it feels pretty sturdy. My current one is Artsac Workshop's Dunbar. It's very small (holds a 15 inch laptop), feels sturdy and has enough pockets for me to be happy. As much as I love some of these bags, I don't think I'd be happier with anything else. To me, it becomes complicated when you're looking for a carry-on only backpack.
Have you seen their new Kickstarter? www.kickstarter.com/projects/pxurbanwear/the-invisible-carry-on-backpack-simplify-your-trav Looks nice, if a little large.
Great reviews. I see you like the backpacks a lot. I've developed a duffel fetish myself. I just saw this one, but it looks a little complicated for me: ruclips.net/video/qMtZ8Pirp8I/видео.html What I recently bought was a Fjallraven No 6 Small Duffel and I can't wait to use it. But it's quite a bit heavier than what I've been using lately: an Outdoor Research Rangefinder Duffel, small. Before that, it was an Everlane Weekender Duffel. Would also like to try a North Face Basecamp at some point. As you can tell, I have the bag sickness pretty bad. From one bag addict to another: Thanks for your reviews. I enjoy them.
Another great review, thanks Chase! I discovered your RUclips channel through Fizzle and I'm so happy I did :)! Wanted to let you know about a cool brand I recently discovered: www.pinqponq.com/en/ They use recycled materials and have recently been vegan-approved by Peta, which is really awesome! I sent them an email as you suggest in your video linking your channel so hopefully they will get in touch with you for a review but I wanted to bring the brand to your attention anyway, hopefully you will like it. Thanks again for all that you do!! :)
Haha, Funny that we have the same backpack video on the same day. What an awesome coincidence. Nice review, Chase!
Bo Ismono yup.. I thought the same. liked both the videos tho 😊🙋
Bo Ismono that was the first think that I thought haha. Loved both videos and liked the backpack. Keep doing this aewsome job both of you!
Thanks, Raj!
Thanks, Rodrigo!!!
Papers. Business papers. Business papers man.

You make a backpack review to a interesting comedy show. You are a really talented sales person! Loughed my ass off!

Any chance you'll do a review of the Outlier Ultrahigh Quadzip?
Looks like a good alternative to the GR1 if that bag is too expensive/tacticool for you. The large dump pouch might cause difficulties accessing your junk over time, but the extra exterior pockets are nice.
Oh my god, you just blew my mind with "Tacticool." That's *exactly* the name for that kind of product.

you should check out the nomatic backpack which is currently being crowd funded at Kickstarter

Yes. great great great point and easy fix. Well said.

Thanks Chase for this nice review.
Compared to the Tom Bihn Synapse 25, which one is the best ?
I'd say if you really like the look of this invisible backpack and dislike the look of the Synapse 25, you'll like this more. Out of all things your hat !! were ya get it so I can get myself one?? cheers !

Chase, is the shoe pocket/bottom compartment zipper basically holding all the weight of the bag contents?
The Blacktail rolltop back pack is very affordable and quality made with a forward aesthetic

My gut says yes - i remember this one being very generous for the laptop sizing. Great choice.

Wow, yea, love the looks of those! just sent them an email. Fingers crossed.
Hey Chase, can we get a GoRuck GR1 review in the future?
Love it how you mix philosophy, lifestyle and damn bags. Also all the small details on the video, like pausing the music to emphasize something (usually a joke). Question: do you actually use the bags before reviewing them?
Thanks André... and, of course! Yea, normally at least a few weeks, often times with longer travel in there where I use the bag on its own.
Chase Reeves wow you replied! I've been missing bags with hiding/removable shoulder straps lately

good man. Leaning towards the tortuga after getting caught in savage rain last trip to the tropics... appreciate the feedback.
Love your videos!
Have you reviewed any bags from Chrome?
I have a messenger bag and a backpack from them, and I like them a lot!
Yo Chase U should review the Everki Concept and Ogio Renegade RSS Backpacks...
Hey Chase, do you have the Osprey Farpoint 40? I know alot of people have reviewed it but most people focus on just the Pros and not the Cons.
Not yet! Trying to get my hands on one now.
Dude you should stick with the “ Papers your business....papers......man” that shit is funny and kinda charming. Hehe. Cool bag as always. Thanks.
I love your voices and I want a bag from you. Any one you have laying around! ❤️
When you put shoes on the shoe compartment, will it affect the loading capacity for the main compartment?
yeah
You could put your sweater in that shoe compartment, because lets be honest, you are always talking about places to put a sweater. Keep on keepin on!
Or your rain coat / cagoule.
"Can't wait to show you where all the pockets and stuff are" hahahahahaha
lol. ur back. FUN TIME.
the point is... let aside the moments you have to test new backpacks to do reviews or whatever... but what's your everyday backpack?

Not weather proof. Not waterproof.
Dude I love your content but that scream all the time is just annoying
too expensive, not worth it
