I'm not bias. Charron is speaking not rapping. Cadence is needed for anyone to rap. Pat stay had angles,personals,flow,bars,crowd control,swag,and visibly got to charron. When he said I'll always be a superior human being and charron gets pitty from people(Charron spent a round talking about his autism)I knew pat won.

This battle is very hard to judge. To me the first round goes to pat stay because he brought a killer combination of great stage presence, cadence, delivery, metaphors and multi syllabic rhyming. Charron took the second round with all those fire punch lines. The third is so debatable for me. Pat stays delivery, freestyle and personals was epic and intimidating but it was short. Charron done remarkably well not to choke and managed to replace his prop with good bars and some freestyle. But unfortunately I have to choose pat because he showed me the difference between a rapper with great skill and a rapper with the whole package. Charrons body language changed in the third when pat started to lower his voice and crush his whole image. Charrons bars were more clever but overall pat stay 2-1

I have no clue how people are seeing this as a body for Charron. i think Pat's Bars were unconventional (monologish) where as Charron's were very basic (setup, punch) you made a great point about a rapper with great skill vs a rapper with the whole package.

I wont say body bag by any stretch, but Charrons punches hit harder this time for whatever reason. 1-pat) he just came out hard, no flaws 2-Charron) pat seemed flat, tripped up no choke just wasn't as powerful as Charrone 3-Charron) not by much, the personals were HEAVY for me, but to Pats credit, it didnt fuck with him the way it was intended to. Much respect to Pat Stay tho. That 3rd could have gone either way. Again, thanks for the analysis and your thoughts on the battle. Its becoming a rare thing to read.
I dont know both are good. I agree Pat took the first round. I don't know about either dude's background but Charron's punchlines were crazy. That telephone, eve, and Seahawks line were crazy. Also he used his past problems to his advantage. If Charron punchlines were like the phone ones all the time dude would b unstoppable. Pat's style is definitely different. But idk Charron won round 2 and 3 in my opinion.

people are quick to say pat's 2nd was weak but they don't realize the kind of talent and audacity it takes to perform on stage like that. pat's 2nd was more about showing his personality is much bigger and memorable than charron's mechanical bar spitting factory persona.

Honestly did not think the chain was going back to Pat and I am a Pat Stay fan.
Pat deserved this win and Charron's planned stunt in the third round simply wouldn't have been enough to pull him a victory.
Charron lost, regardless of the Hollohan incident. Pat Stay had much more stage presence, more intricate rhyme schemes, and an overall better performance.
Pat really delivers a much better performance than Charron in terms of stage presence in the battle. Pat is much more demanding in terms of attention when he's performing (stage presence), this is because of different factors, such as body language, and gestures and motions, all these things do contribute to the overall performance.
In terms of lyrical ability, Pat also took it this battle. Pat had a much more rounded approach to this battle. In the first round, Pat showcased his lyrical skills, putting together more complex bars, utilizing things such as multi-syllabic rhymes (things like "The man you demanded/ This man will dismantle you", and "Helicopter propeller choppers") and hard hitting metaphors (like "I am the the greatest/ The chain is material/ The title's a statement/ A stone my name is engraved in") He then transitions later in the round to mocking Charron through jokes, setting up the tone of his second round, which was much more of him having fun and showcasing his clever and more quick witted side. He goes back into the third round more seriously, attacking Charrron's accomplishments while simultaneously placing himself above.
Charron's plan throughout this battle was a lot more linear, every round was just plain attacks to Pat's character. Every round was focused on breaking, and tearing Pat down. This isn't to say that his scheme's didn't have substance, there was just a real lack of diversity in the substance. (Look up Scynikal and Chuggo vs. Real Deal and Fresco if you'd like to see how lack of substance diversity can kill you in a battle). Throughout the battle Charron stuck to a very strict pattern of set up, punchline, and this may work for Charron, however, when Pat called him out on it, Charron should have stepped up and perhaps showcased a little more variety in style.
Now in terms of rebuttals, this is where the real toss up is, Both of them had really great rebuttals. Charron's 16 bit rebuttal was amazing, and so was Pat Stay's deflated balls rebuttal. But I still would have to give the rebuttals to Pat, as Pat was able to rebuttal lines that were much more devastating. One of Charron's main points during his third round was about Kohl, and how the cancer thing wasn't true, This was a huge blow to Pat, to which Pat not only cleverly name-flipped, but responded by bringing up Joel. This was a very cunning move and a perfect set up for his third round about how he's a better person then Charron.
Final decision :Pat Stay wins, despite the Hollohan drama. the judges almost unanimously went with Pat, with good reason. This doesn't detract from Charron's great performance, it just didn't stand up to Pat's ability to put on a really entertaining show.
Also he's more polished.

One of Charron's biggest angles was Pat relying on crowd reaction but he was the one waiting for reaction after every punchline

Theres more than just bars that play into this . You can map out charrons style with numbers and its the same delivery every time . ( rebuttal . Pat just came off corny in the 2nd and Charron's third was dope considering he had to shuffle it on the fly. Pat's third wasn't that great a performance even though it had some hard hitting shit. The whispering shit was kinda weak idk, people seemed to feel it but.. and then his ending was kinda lackluster too. To me, Charron 2-1.

This is like my 10th time watching this battle ... after watching hundreds of other battles I still got to say Pat Stay took this 2-1. It's not all about bars and lyricism , it's about breaking your opponent down, cleverness, versatility of flows and style and dominating . Pat stay is a master at all traits in my book
