- hi friends ~ in this video I wanted to show you how I create my stickers in Procreate for my Etsy shop and how I package my orders 🥰

What I used in this video:
- iPad 10.2" 8th generation & Apple pencil 1st generation
- Procreate brushes: Round Brush, Monoline, 6B Pencil, Gloaming (all included in Procreate)
- Printer Canon Pixma G550
- matte vinyl sticker paper from photo paper direct
- Paper Cutter Dahle 502
- Acrylic storage boxes from Amazon

Ooh the process of doing everything from creating the products to packing orders, i kinda miss it. I used to have a shop before too. But i took a break now. Love how at the end of the day after all the work is done, you find time to relax and enjoy. The stickers are lovely too! :)
I think packing orders especially is so much fun, I took a pretty long break too because I just needed to work on my shop. I hope you can open your shop at some point again!

I would loveeee a procreate tutorial! I do a bit of drawing and honestly, I'm just trying to figure it out as I go along... not the best way to go about things, esp since I don't have any design background >.< I had so much fun watching your vlog!

To be honest, I was doing kind of the same thing haha, I started drawing way before I got into design and I tried to teach myself how to draw by watching tons of youtube videos and I think it worked out pretty okay ☺️ I will definitely make one, if I can find the time so thank you for the feedback ❤️

A few questions about Procreate (cuz I’m trying to understand it better) : Can you explain the masking and erasing part that you do on a layer? How do you export the images individually? And if I don’t have a program that measures image size like Illustrator or Indesign, is there another program that can do it? Word has gotten really great for laying out, editing, and printing images, but the size isn’t as accurate.
Also I think my favourite one is the oranges with the quotes. Your handwriting looks like a real beautiful font

As for procreate: I used the selection tool to select a rectangle and then I created a mask on the layer with the pattern with that selection. A mask is a layer you can put on top of another one and you can draw in black and white on it. The parts that are black will not show, while the white parts will show (I really hope this makes sense). The reason I used a mask is that I didn't want to actually erase the original gingham layer so that I can still edit the mask and turn it off and on without messing up the gingham layer ☺️
As for other programs, unfortunately I don't have a lot of experience outside of adobe programs, but I found a free alternative to InDesign, called Scribus, so maybe you could try that 🤔 (I haven't personally tried it)
