Some people really went out and criticized the animation here, I really cant get that. As a manga reader the style, colors and movement fit the vibe so well, and there is like multiple months of work left on the show as well. This is gonna be a banger
You will def get to know your question answered in like ep 2 prolly but it's not a time travel thing, that's all I gotta say. And man, if they spaz with the first season, this might surpass jjk or even demon slayer in levels of hype and popularity when their first seasons came out since it already has a huge fanbase behind it. Def has the greatest choreographed fights in animanga imo.
Sakamoto Days, which has not yet been animated, was ranked second after One Piece in the average publication ranking in 2023, ahead of My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen. I highly recommend reading this manga because the panel layouts and artwork in the fight scenes are really amazing, and the characters are just so cool. In Japan, there are many voices of concern about whether the anime version will be able to accurately portray the battle scenes from the manga, but I am very much looking forward to it.
I would recommend reading it first. It has some of the best fights in manga history (no joke) and is just overall great. The anime looks like it won’t be as good judging by the animation but you can do whatever you want. The manga is just amazing
Lupin & Detective Conan movie team is currently available right now so TMS had so much resource for sakamoto days they know this is big project, plus the director well he not that big name on industry but he was good director work on code geass exiled movie the direction for that 5 episodes trilogy was good
@kams5345 eh I still don't think they have enough resources to make a pure action anime. You need good connections in the industry which the director dosent. The in house team isn't enough imo

If you watch the latest movie detective conan that movie is stacked because of nagaoka connection since movie is done they are free right now sakamoto prod is still going right now so he can help there since the others TMS projects is not on production right now.
