This is the only solution that worked it’s been like this for months and I’ve just been using my earbuds for months. Really happy I got around to see this. I bent open the thin and taking it out I saw the prongs to the battery cable were bent. They were super flimsy i bent them into shape and plugged it in and I worked super happy!!

@@ilikebumblebees354 It should be the black plug inside of the ear peice. You have to shimmy it out with tweezers and alide it back in and it will go on

Tried it and worked perfectly. I guess the problem with the battery cable occured when i changed the pads (kinda went harsh on headphones that time). Anyways after plugging the battery cable again worked for me. Thanks for the video!

He’s referring to the Red black and yellow wires. You must first remove the silicone around the connector with the knife to then remove the connector. Hope this helps.

Issue: My beats would not turn on but they would charge to max if I wanted
My process: I opened the beats up and unplugged both connections and scrubbed corrosion off with 70% isopropyl alcohol and let dry
Results: this did help and my beats did turn on and I was able to connect my phone again
New problem: I cannot turn it off manually. I hold the power button and it does not shut off. Please let me know if there is something else I can do. Thanks!

ur save my life on my beat solo 3!!!!!!! i followed ur skills and i found it the light was blocked by the main light. I just saved my money over 100 pounds
Thank you!!!! It took me an hour to figure out what piece I unplug but I got it and they work like new!!
It’s looks like a square or rectangle with glue on top of it
I carefully peeled the glue off then unplugged it and put it back in and my headphones work like new (the glue is holding the 2 pieces together, it looks like a square but pulls apart like 2 rectangles) I’m bad at explaining shit sorry lol
@Evelin Gonzalez it was one colour but I have the Beats Solo 3 wireless so I’m not sure if it’s the same on yours
Try looking if something disconnected on the other side, I had to open both sides and on the side without the button there was a wire loose

I repaired it permanently :) It was a cold solder under bq27425 BGA DC/DC coverter chip :)
Can you please post a video because this one is useless and is suspect similar that had an issue with the cold weather we just had roll through here that killed my son's?
Bought these beets solo threes for 25 bucks cuz they didn't work and I did this little trick you showed us and man I got me some expensive headphones that work with my tablet oh yeah

This actually resolved my problem with the headphones. I was shocked! Thank you. One additional note, after you make the steps as illustrated, pair the device, turn the headphones off and then back on (while on the charger) start listening to your music. Thank you.
Question, I have a second pair that got wet and would not power off so, they remained on until the battery completely went out. I attempted to recharge but now they will not charge at all. I opened them to reset the battery but the battery is under a protective layer (can't pull apart). How can that be reset?

Unplugged and reconnected the switch, it did a flash all lights then flash red thing. Closed it up, pressed the power button, didn't work. Did the same again, still didn't work. Even did those reset tricks from the beats website, still didn't work.

You need to be extremely careful when clicking them back together because the battery will slip out of place since there is no silicone holding it in place anymroe
