As an Israeli, I'm thrilled that our enemies cannot put themselves in our shoes. It means that they can't understand us. How can they expect to defeat us, and throw us in the sea, if they have zero mental flexibility? An enemy motivated only by emotions, is intrinsically weak.
Hey man, I was in Israel two years ago and I was dumbfolded on how beautiful and developed it is. Although I have a question. As an outsider it seems almost obvious that the two states solution is the key to this all problem - Israel gets his current territory and Palestine the West Bank and Gaza. My question is why are israelis doing settlements in thd palestiniam areas. Isnt this worsening the problem? Why not just build a wall (like US and Mexico) separating the two states. Problem solved. No checkpoints, no settlements. Just two countries living separate lifes. Dont you, as an Israeli, think this is the ideal solution?
Their perspective is resistence. From their point of view there is nothing to understand: they resist an oppressor. They have no choice and no dilemma. And possibly they do understand Israelis very well, and maybe that's why they think force is the only language their enemy understands.
@@joellopes3934 Palestinians never agreed to that. That's the problem. There were many offers given to them, even before the re-establishment of Israel (See how much was offered on Peel commission and also the Partition Plan). Not even one offer was accepted. It's not about land. It was never about land. Their slogan is "from the river to the sea". This means no peace with Israel. It's on top of Israel. Israel will be no more. As for forced walls, this is an issue because of how the current situation is. As for settlements, the situation on 1967 was that Israel thought that maybe there would be peace with them, so it stayed under semi-control of Israel and laws are applied in an emergency format. As there is no offer that is accepted, Israelis are free to live there. This is similar to what happened with Egypt. Land was conquered in defensive war, so the defender (Israel) is free to do what it wants with it, just like every other nation in history, and building houses is a legitimate use of such land. Settlements aren't related at all to making things worse. The war against Israel started way before building houses on the land that was liberated on 1967 (check when the PLO was founded and what was their agenda).
The people that invaded and conquered Israel by the sword during the Muslim Conquest of the Levant in 634 CE are now complaining that the people they conquered, are taking their land.

@@MBechirM But none of what you say was valid when Israel pulled out of Gaza in the first place. The blockade came only after Gazans started firing rockets into Israel. @@mightyobserver9899 Just the logic of the question. Palestinians want a state of their own with their own infrastructure, however up until today Palestinian leadership have not invested much of their resources in that. Much of the resources evidently were in invested into building tunnels and purchasing rockets, with disregard to the people's safety. The rule of the thumb is that Hamas shoots rockets at Israel, Israel responds. So essentially, Hamas consciously subjects Gaza to be exposed to attacks without providing shelter. They obviously have the resources, so why don't they? Why attack in the first place without having a plan of keeping your people safe? Israel certainly makes every effort to make their people safe, and that also includes the 2 million Palestinians whom live within Israel as citizens. Furthermore, previous investigations by international community have already revealed that Hamas utilized public schools, and private homes, in densely populated areas to operate from and store weaponry. As such, Hamas is an internationally recognized terrorist organization. It simply doesn't have the Palestinian people's safety as an interest, and agree or disagree, Hamas does use their deaths as political pons against Israel. So if you comes across the statement "Free Gaza from Hamas" that is what is being meant. Palestinians deserve a better leadership, one that is capable of diplomatic relations, and doesn't subject the Palestinian people of harm.

@@mightyobserver9899 Absolutely, happy to have these conversations. I understand that things right now are being portrayed as Israel being the "big and mighty" and Palestinians being "occupied". But it is a multi-layered issue that you have to go back centuries back to thoroughly understand. Who colonized who depends on the time line you are referring to, and today's reality is an aftermath of multi generational violence. "Palestine" was initially a geographical reference made by Roman occupation 2000 years ago after the fall of the Israel & Judean Kingdom and destruction of its temple in Jerusalem. That is an historical fact, not a religious belief. For the next 2000 years that land was referred to as "Palestine" by various different empires and occupying forces without it being its own Sovereignty. The land has been sparsely populated during these times with many different communities that included Arabs and Jews, but they were not a united entity of a "Palestinian people". All of that changed after world war I & II, many Jewish communities started returning in the spirit of Zionism movement. "Zion" is a cultural Jewish reference to Jerusalem. With that growth of Jewish community, the British who occupied Palestine in the beginning of the 1900s made the decision to partition the land to 2 independent states, one for the Jews, and the other to the Arabs. The Arabs rejected it, as Arab leaders were always in the mindset of all or nothing. Then in 1948, the Jews declared independence (in a much smaller portion of the land) and called it Israel in the name of the Old Kingdom. Surrounding Arabs nations such as Egypt, Jordon, Syria, and Lebanon took advantage and initiated a full scale war. During that war, the Palestinians were left as refugees without a state of their own. Egypt annexed Gaza, and Jordon annexed Judea&Samaria aka the "West Bank". It is important to point out that that neither Jordon nor Egypt allowed Palestinian statehood, and kept Palestinians as refugees. After multiple wars, and multiple peace agreements, Israel brought Gaza into being an Independent Palestinian entity, and the West Bank being a collaborative administration. Unfortunately Gaza was taken over Hamas, which is a terrorist organization funded by mostly Iran with radical Islamic religious ideologies. As result of continued terrorism and suicide bombing Israel has been taking National security measures to protect its public. These security measures are reflected in Walls, check points, and a 2 sided blockade on Gaza that is implemented collectively with Egypt. All of that puts Palestinians in disadvantage and disparity. There current leadership incites violence that see deeply rooted in radical Islamic ideologies that Jerusalem is a Muslim entity and the whole land belongs to them. There is no reasoning with that. Unfortunately many innocent Palestinians that are just trying to live their lives end up in the line of the fire, and face constant challenges as result of security measures. I hope this clarifies some of it for you :)
This question, in itself, is a "Loaded Question", one type of a logical fallacy. Read about it in Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loaded_question I quote from the link above: "The traditional example is the question "Have you stopped beating your wife?" Whether the respondent answers yes or no, they will admit to having a wife and having beaten her at some time in the past." I also quote: "A common way out of this argument is not to answer the question (e.g. with a simple 'yes' or 'no'), but to challenge the assumption behind the question. To use an earlier example, a good response to the question "Have you stopped beating your wife?" would be "I have never beaten my wife".[5] This removes the ambiguity of the expected response, therefore nullifying the tactic. However, the asker is likely to respond by accusing the one who answers of dodging the question." The only way to answer a loaded question, is by not answering it. It makes total sense to respond to such a question by simply pointing out that Israel is a force of occupation and oppression, and that you will never be in Israel's shoes.
Archaeologists found an ancient Synagogue in the Palestinian Territories, with a mosaic that has very clear Hebrew letters saying: “Peace upon Israel”, from the 5th century, long before the first Arab “Palestinian” invaded that land. There’s ZERO archaeological findings of a Palestinian nation, but there are thousands of evidence for rich Jewish life in that land, and every archaeological excavations there only brings more clear evidence that that’s the Jewish homeland. You can’t expect Jews to just leave their historic land again just because you don’t want to share the land with them. Many of them has continuous presence there for thousands of years! That land is Israel! 🤷🏻♂️
Islam rationalizes the conquests of Muslim warrior states. Muslims arrive, plant their flag, the natives of the territory are erased, the territory becomes The Lands of Islam. The argument that you make here does not connect with the Islamic world view, which is about the relationship between Muslims and the Will of Muslim Heaven.
@@ranonampangom2185 , LOL... That's your argument??? Go search about the ancient "Shalom al Israel" Synagogue in Jericho. These Palestinians don't want to answer a simple question that's been asked. The Jewish people that are living Israel may have come from Europe but their blood line is from Judea going back over 2000 years. Palestinians are Arabs from Arabia going back only 1400 years. Simples.
The majority of Jews in Israel are descendants of refugees who fled to Israel from Arab countries (A fact that is quite evident in most of the videos on this channel where Jews are interviewed).
Fair skin and light eyes are not native at those geographical latitudes. Also, the "bloodline" argument is absurd. What percentage constitutes the "right of return"? 51%?...1%? Applying that logic, we'd ALL have the "right of return" to Sub-Saharan Africa. They can’t possibly see themselves as being the aggressor and they can’t see themselves throwing people out of their homes and taking their land, so yes, they have trouble putting themselves in an Israeli’s shoes.
You can tell how the Israelis truly feel about the Palestinians when you read these comments and you see the Jewish names and the supporters of Zionism calling Palestinians bad names, making comments like they don’t know how to do this or they can’t do simple mental exercises- pretty much any way you can think of degrading someone and it is heartbreaking to say the least. How about the people in the comments putting themselves into Palestinian’s shoes. How would they feel is someone is occupying your land, demolishing your homes and labelling you out to be the bad guy? Imagine asking a Jew how would they feel if they were Hitler, it’s just wrong, you don’t do it. It was never their land. And the Arabs rejected the UN Partition plan for another arab state to genocde the newly self dtermined jevvs in their homeland, where they found their history and archeology as a people.
How did the world get it completely wrong??? Why does the majority think Palestinians are indigenous to the land and that Jews are not? If a non-indigenous American says all indigenous people should leave America, everyone would lose their minds. That is essentially what they're saying. Living in a land long enough does not make you indigenous. Jews are indigenous to the land of Israel, Arabs are not. That is a fact that many people don't understand. The Arab empire colonized the land of Israel. Israel is a form of DEcolonization. One of them said "there was no Israel before 1948". First of all, there was also no Palestine before then as we know it today. Palestine was a British colony. Second of all, there was the Kingdom of Israel before Jews were exiled. My blood is boiling!!!

This is similar to what happened with Egypt. Land was conquered in defensive war, so the defender (Israel) is free to do what it wants with it, just like every other nation in history, and building houses is a legitimate use of such land.

Read about it in Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loaded_question
I quote from the link above: "The traditional example is the question "Have you stopped beating your wife?" Whether the respondent answers yes or no, they will admit to having a wife and having beaten her at some time in the past."
I also quote: "A common way out of this argument is not to answer the question (e.g. with a simple 'yes' or 'no'), but to challenge the assumption behind the question. To use an earlier example, a good response to the question "Have you stopped beating your wife?" would be "I have never beaten my wife".[5] This removes the ambiguity of the expected response, therefore nullifying the tactic. However, the asker is likely to respond by accusing the one who answers of dodging the question."
The only way to answer a loaded question, is by not answering it.
Israel is not like European occupations, those people do have history in that land, and they have no original country but Palestine.
You forgot Arab trrorism after migration, which was followed by retaliation, then war, then displacement, and then more wars.
@@ef2718 "Pre-Islamic" is hardly a specific or narrow window of time, and offers ZERO indication of regional nativity. The migration of various peoples from various locales into and out of the Levant throughout the millennia is far too labyrinthine to make meaningful conclusions from the study's declaration regarding "genetic similarity". Meanwhile, phenotype mapping tells the tale. Again, fair skin and eyes did NOT evolutionarily emerge in the Levant. Its presence there, either anciently, historically, or currently, is the result of northern interlopers.
Studies? You want studies? We've all got'em:
"A 2013 study at the University of Huddersfield, led by Professor Martin B. Richards, concluded that 65%-81% of Ashkenazi Mt-DNA is European in origin, including all four founding mothers, and that most of the remaining lineages are also European. The results were published in Nature Communications in October 2013. The team analyzed about 2,500 complete and 28,000 partial Mt-DNA genomes of mostly non-Jews, and 836 partial Mt-DNA genomes of Ashkenazi Jews. The study claims that only 8% of Ashkenazi Mt-DNA could be identified as Middle Eastern in origin, with the origin of the rest being unclear."

Interesting what the first guy said, "Do they have a reason?"... If someone is trying to kill me, I don't care how justified they think they are. I'm not going to let them do it, even if it means I have to kill them. If you and I are arguing over who owns a car, and I say "I own it", and instead of you saying "no, I own it", you say "I'm going to kill you". At that point, I don't care who owns the car. There seems to be a long lasting thread that runs through your library, most Jews want peace with the Arabs and most Arabs want peace without the Jews.
Indeed there's huge disparity between those cultures & societies.
The big picture is majority vs. minority.
The region is dominated by a Muslim Arab majority that clings to a historic past of of glorious conquests, of emerging from the desert winning battles against big empires by the grace of Allah, establishing an empire that colonized, Arabized and Islamized lands and people all the way from India to Morocco, manifesting supremacy of the final prophet, his message and religion above the previous ones.
This majority can not accept (re-)emergence of an independent state of minorities be it Assyrian, Maronite, Druze or Allah forbid Jews God punished and abandoned, that is an antithesis to all of the above.
Not a single one of them was capable of even attempting the exercise? Super bizarre video. It's like seeing one of those tribes who can't count or only have four colors.

From these answers it can be deduced that they do not want the children of Israel on the land of Israel. But, but ask them who in their eyes is greater than Muhammad, or Moshe Rabbeinu? And this is exactly where peace and war lie !

The question should have been about imaginary lands, only later connecting it to the Israel and Arab conflicts.
When random Palestinians would defend Israel better than Israel's own leaders.
The equivalent to this question is: what if you were a robber and the victim tried to knive you during robbery? Such a paradox. Israelis really think they have a legit land with actual order. This brought on a war of no slight importance nor of brief duration, for the JEWS deemed it intolerable that foreign races should be settled in THEIR city and foreign religious rites planted there." [All emphases mine] (From Cassius Dio, Roman History 69.12.1-14.3)
