    One of my goals as a violinist is to learn this solo, and to see it played so wonderfully is truely inspiring.

    Such a character! She is not perfect, but her imperfections are what make her perfect! SHe shows her human side with this interpretation- such a beauty! My attention never wavered from this gorgeous and unique interpretation. A true master of the instrument! Also, check out her video of this from when she was younger- amazing as well!

    A superbly soulful and energetic interpretation; capturing the true spirit of the masterpiece. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 She is my absolute favorite violinist virtuoso - everything she touches turns into gold. The Vieuxtemps Guarneri couldn’t possibly be in better hands.

    Great performance, but I mainly applaud the ochestra for being always supportive for the soloist. Before the rondo thema she came a quarter sooner, but they noticed immediately. Bravo!

      Abram Patrick Abesamis the Molitor? 🤔

    • @benn93z28
      @benn93z28 6 лет назад +2

      Nope, this is the 1741 "Vieuxtemps" guarneri del gesu. It's widely considered the most expensive violin in the world (value approaching $20m) due to the condition (no cracks whatsoever, no need of any major patching, etc). It's undoubtedly the best example of a Del Gesu in existence. She's had it on loan since 2012, and I haven't seen her play the Molitor Strad other than during an interview some years ago where she played all the violins she owns.

    Wonderful performance and very fine Orchestra, although I will say that this is the most bored looking Orchestra I think I have ever seen in my life.

    • @jacobwright3142
      @jacobwright3142 4 года назад

      They are not bored, they are concentrating. They are watching the conductor and listening to the soloist, adapting their sound to the solo violin and the other sections within the orchestra. If they weren’t concentrating on the music and instead focused on the external acting in their face then they may not have been able to produce a such a wholesome sound.

      @@jacobwright3142 listen to 3:50 and at the top of Miss Akiko's scale. They are neither listening nor watching. It shows because it is also not together, although I must admit I am a little sensitive since I am also a section violinist...

    • @jacobwright3142

      David W. You’re point is completely understandable, maybe due to a lack of rehearsal?? Also I am a soloist so the rivalry is real hahaha 😂

    Hearing so much about 'the illustrious prodigy', 'celebrated violinist' and virtuoso worths playing one of the greatest instrumnts in existence, that was surprisingly sloppy around a lot of edges, out of pitch and just smudged... but again, most people simply do not have ears to hear that....

      Most listen for the music and not for technical perfection. She is probably capable of playing this flawlessly without taking any risks. But what fun would that be?

    I gave up violin dream to become a violinist when I found out I got no talent. Sad!

    • @montahalasses4367
      @montahalasses4367 5 лет назад +7

      If you really want to become a violinist , then do it, don't think of the talent only, but play with love and passion, be brave and have the discipline to practice, if you really want to become a violinist, then fight for that dream and you'll do it, just don't give up...althought it's not easy... It really worth it... I'd like to become a cellist and I have had difficult times like right now, but I want to continue and I'll do it with all my heart and strenght, because that's what I really love, and what I really want to do for the rest of my life, I want to be capable to convey feelings and thoughts through music and to reach other people's hearts, by playing, teaching and even composing... if your wish something like that too I recommend you to continue with the music, let's do it no matter what!
