Maker Marx lol! that'll be me in a couple of weeks!
Name it Jimmy LOL.
IT'S A GIRL!!!
Congratulations :O Still name it jimmy.
congrats!
hey I'm your neighbor ! I have watched for a while but never realized your upstate place is 500 feet from mine. I'm a maker as well
come over for fresh eggs!
probably not a smart idea to post your email in a public form like this. Just an FYI.
VampireOnline I don't know how to do otherwise lol
I'm sorry
Don't worry, Jimmy fans aren't cretins. Your email is safe with us.
That is a huge new space, you will have a maker city in there!! Thanks for the shout out. It would have been nice for a happier video but that one certainly leaves an "impact"! I hope I can get it stitched back up today.
I look forward to Jimmy building his own light aircraft with a brad nailer, pocket holes and briwax just to piss people off in the comments.
Some 25 years ago I worked at Moshav Pharan for two and a half years, my "boss" was a guy called Oved Idan, what a great guy and a passionate Israeli. The best holiday I ever had considering we worked for 12 hours a day in gruesome 48 degrees Celsius side by side with Russians, Checks, Pols, Americans, English, Germans, Dutch, South Africans and even Canadians. My "boss" even put on a great Christmas lunch for us and we celebrated Hanukkah and Yom Kippur with him. Those were the days!
What a wonderful time to be alive! I get to learn from so
many wonderful teachers. Each time I watch you teach I am inspired to try and
more capable of creating beautiful things. From the bottom of my heart, thank
you for sharing your artistry. It is very meaningful to me.
Thank you for mentioning Brian's video! Everybody needs to see it, safety is under rated, and Brian's channel is just awesome!
Really nice of you and Julie to pick up a shelter dog. I think she looks like a Bella. she has warm and kind eyes.
WOW he really could pass for your grandfather.
That little pup looks like a Millie to me.
I used to have the same radial arm saw. I had to give it away because of the lack of space. Great vlog Jimmy!
The Yellow Deli and its folks started here in Chattanooga,TN. Great food and nice folks too. We put out a small fire in their home a few years ago and they always remind us about it when we go eat on shift. My old crew said the Deli Rose is the best so if you haven't had it definitely try it
I saw that video of Brian Block's mishap. I was expecting something bad to happen but definitely not something that bad. I just about fell out of my chair when it happened.
That space would be great to revitalize, that town could really benefit. There are plenty of motels around and supplies are fairly close by. Thanks again for letting us pop in to see the new space, you will do great things there. I will try to make contact about the lathe this week.
Thank you !!! xo
Thanks for all you do and putting me in your vlog Jimmy .
Thank you for the goodies!!!
You can hang the blue eye to your new shop. It will protect you.
And those seeds are really delicious
I love your South Bend lathe I see in the back ground. I once had one just like it that came from Los Alimos.
Damn jimmy , your so close to the 1 million subs!! Well deserved! It's sad to see your New York City shop go but I'm looking forward to seeing the transformation of the new shop!
Makers & Shakers! Love the vlogs Jimmy!
Well hello Dave!
can't wait to see that old 1800s bandsaw next to the planer
Great channel and thanks for sharing. Yes I watched that cable break and my heart skipped a beat. Very lucky he didn't get hurt, that block could have swung around and got him, very lucky. later
"He's starting his own RUclips channel" LOL that was awesome. Great vlog Jimmy! I enjoy watching these.
Cute pooch! She needs to be named 'Bulleit.' I bet she'll fall right in to her name!
Jimmy!!! you are infectious and a inspiration to people 10,000 odd miles away like me you grow on them!!! God Bless You!!!
Hey Jimmy, really enjoying this format with your updates. Man I love that new shop space. I wish I could find something just like that! See ya soon!
Looks like Toto to me...thanks for the video. Brian's winch cable was rotted from the inside. Had a cloth center that evidently got wet at one point and rusted the cable in a way that couldn't be seen. He's a lucky guy that he wasn't killed.
Now I'm looking forward to a video where Jimmy trims his nose hairs with a hand-sharpened 1/8" chisel. It could be the new standard sharpness test.
A good teacher is who teaches well what he knows even if it is little, and you are very good at teaching. There are those who need to know much more but do not share it. There is more happiness in giving than receiving and one is happy giving knowledge to others and free.
Thank you for doing these. Even on your "light weeks" you are inspiring and entertaining.
Love your work Jimmy, hopin to get up to New York and meet you one day soon. Keep up the great work
For a moment there, Jimmy, I thought that was you dressed up! Great stories, as usual. Thanks, man.
Black Yorkie? Call her Björkie!
I really love when you introduce us to such lovely persons like this guy. thanks!
You should call your new dog New Yorky... Thanks for the videos Jimmy.
I really enjoy these weekly vlogs. Jimmy, you are the ambassador of inspiration!
Good stuff. Moral to the story. Dont stand under heavy falling objects. Snowball sounds like a good name.
Ugh, Brian's radial drill video. Gut wrenching!
Brians video was a scary reminder of lifting safety.work in a factory and seen many overhead crane failures.Your new friend looks like a old dog of mine Ajax,he was half West Highland and half Scottish Terrier.
Such a great doggie, you rescued...!!!
Name it Jingle....
Thanks for the update on everything, looking forward to the next one.
Love the tunes. So hypnotic, wow.
glasses over sunglasses will be all the fashion trend now!
Hey Jimmy! Big fan. Thought this would be a great time to ask when your doing another tips video? The part here with Brian Blocks story reminded me of you talking about doing one with david about moving heavy objects.
What...? You can jump on the Grizzly and go to the corner store? That's cool. I thought you were in more of a rural sticksville, with no one to complain about random discharging of firearms, or cannons. Looks like things are coming together nicely with the new shop. That vacant commercial space looked promising as well. Keep following your passions, I'll keep following your uploads. Bet a significant number of us subscribers whom you've never met would count you as more than an influence, but a mentor and a friend. "It's all about how you bring it buddy." Loving the vlogs.
Damn. I hope that new shop gets better sealed and insulated by the winter.
Holy crap! I live really close to the yellow deli in hiddenite, which is like the main one. That's super cool that you are there.
That civilian aircraft that was flown in to visit you I recognized as something from my youth. I had to look it up but I knew it to be a LUXURY civilian plane back in the day. I googled luxury single props and there it was a Mooney M20, a VERY fine plane, probably from the 70's, still a striking design (designed in the 50's)
MISTERComaToes 80s
Would that make it an L or K?
The karma grip shot with you in a the cart driving around was awesome.
Saw that Worst Day Ever video about 10 minutes after he posted it. Jumped out of my skin. I'll be going to the Filson thing Thursday. See you there.
I really do like these videos. I hope you also show when building stuff for your new shop, those are the most interesting build videos in my opinion.
Smokey name for the new pup. Also never realised how knowledgeable Ben was until I listened to his podcast.
Wow... I'm sitting here drinking a large glass of 12 year old Balvenie Triple cask and up pops the flyer for Jimmy making a mallet and whiskey tasting at the Filson store, sounds like a great day!
Oh the joys of middle age! Ear and nose hair for days..... Hahaha! Well done as always, Jimmy
So hyped for the new shop and all the cool things to come!
you "make" my day. Good morning from Korinth Greece.
Love you halo יעקוב from Israel 🇮🇱 love the fact that you are also from Israel and love jimmy
Love the making it podcasts and every ones channels! Loving the vlogs too! Nose hairs - mate your stitching yourself up! 😂 thanks for taking us on a journey every upload!
A good fellow that came to see you, that was so cool.
Your Yorkie looks like she should be named gizmo
Nazar boncuğu ele vermiş kendisini Türk kahvesi ve çekirdek afiyet olsun We love you DiResta
Kahve yollamak aklima gelmedi. Cekirdek ve Leblebi yolladim. Birdaha yollarken kahve, cezve ve bardak yollayacagim.
Yaptığın olayı takdir ediyorum ben leblebileri kahve olarak görmüşüm
the dude in the beginning Jimmy looked like you but 20 years older 😆👍
Buffing and grinding. And making and shaking! Awesome video Jimmy. Shout out to the podcast crew.
Keep the nose hairs! Unless Taylor says they gotta go. Seriously they help filter the air in the shop when you aren't wearing a mask.
Excellent video Jimmy, thanks much!
Always interesting watching these. Hope you keep them coming!
I'd call the puppy Chisel.
awesome stuff. still waiting on making it to double the output! I've run out of stuff to play while working
Hey Jimmy! Love this Vlog episode. Very relaxing to watch. Sorry to hear you wont make it to Cali next weekend....you will be missed! :) Cheers!
יעקב בן שלוש!! כל הכבוד!
Thanks for adopting, wish more folks would instead of buying from the puppy mill supplied pet shops......
Hey Jimmy, don't apologize for not grooming yourself. We watch you because of your skills not your immaculate nasal cavities.. haha
WOW that cat was not happy LOL
so is no one going to say anything about him wearing his glasses and shades At the same time LMAO
Hi there from Portugal,
Nice :D
Obrigado(Thanks)
The little doggie might be part Cairn Terrier...like the famous "Toto".
can't wait to see the new shop
יעקב שמחת אותנו!
Yaakov!!!
I was going to mention the nose hair in the last clip but then I realised it was your new dog, man I need new glasses!!!
dang that's one mean cat :)
damn it. i have been in the process of making a youtube channel, much inspiration from mr. diresta, and i wanted to call it master of none
Great video. Gotta love the Mooney.
Thats the coolest fucking tattoo I've ever seen, can't believe I've never thought of literally putting a measuring tape on my arm XD
Those plates look great! Yakof (spelling wrong) made me smile.
You are very close to 1 million subs thanks for the inspiration...
And I thought I had a crappy day in shop today because I couldn't get the drill press to drill straight. It was getting pretty close to machine smashing on concrete though, I tell ya.
very first thought after seeing your dog, was Phyllis. She immediately made me think of Phyllis Diller. FWIW
Jimmy, You need a lighting sponsor. Great space...never too much. A makers commune would work.
Jimmy, your new dog looks exactly like my dog (just smaller)! My dog, cookie, is also a rescue and we think she is a Scottie-schnauzer mix (maybe a little Caine terrier).
Love the makerspace idea!
Yellow Deli!!! Come to Chattanooga, Tennessee sometime to visit the original!
4:00 God, I miss my Mooney. Thanks :-)
Amassing likeness, You and Your foreign visitor.
Great vlog, the new dog looks like a "Lucy" to me.
Name for the new rescue dog: Cocoa
don't be afraid to double block heavy gear . and never stand in the line of energy release, when using cable. chain I don't use.
I'm partial to Mazzakeen as a name for the lady animal :-)
nice video Jimmy as usual. For a slow week seems like you have a lot of action.
Dude, Mooney, Hitchin planes.
When can I drop by? haha
6,151 more subs until 1 million! You can do it, man! You'll have it by the end of next week. Enjoy your gold play button. You earned it.
New unnamed dog is adorable!
Thanks for sharing your week with us Jimmy :)
