I have used Personal Kanban for almost two years with Restya. I find it valuable for keeping focus on the most important tasks and being realistic about what I can accomplish.
Thank you for this review. GanttPRO seems to be a powerful Gantt chart solution mixed with Kanban functionality. In general, Gantt charts are great for tasks, resources, and progress tracking. A timeline in Gantt chart software gives a clear understanding of what is going on in my project. Kanban is also a robust solution but mostly for work in progress that's why I like Trello. Hovewer, a mix of solutions as in GanttPRO should be something powerful for project management.
I'll use Gantt Chart for now. But I'll also keep in mind using Kanban for simplier individual projects that requires few team members and can be accomplished in a short period of time 'coz it's easier to use. Thanks! 😊
From my point of view, Gantt charts are definitely better for such industries as construction, event management, marketing and digital agencies where you have to push people to work on their tasks somehow :D. Kanban is more for people who enjoy their jobs and feel personal responsibility to work on tasks they assigned.
Thanks for the question, Ehsan. There are certain elements of GTD that I still do incorporate. But I believe that we need to put the 'personal' back in 'personal productivity'. Therefore, I help my clients create a custom system that works best for them.

I use both, but Gantt charts offer more options to collaborate, track team's workflow and manage workload. That's really useful.
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback, Elena.

That's a great way to consider the differences between these two. Thanks for sharing, Ritch.

Thanks for sharing some great examples, Dmitry.
I use Gantt Chart view, as it's clearer for me. Thank you for the video!
Can you zoom into the Gantt chart by hours instead of days or weeks? I’d like to use it to manage hourly tasks. Is this possible?
Yes, you can zoom in and manage tasks at an hourly view.
Is it possible to use both? Kanban to split it into smaller tasks and Gantt for a longsight schedule during the project.
Yes, many project management apps will allow you to have both views.
I'm curious to see your review of Elegantt, a Chrome extension that makes your Trello board a Gantt chart.
He shows Gannt firat, and spends more time on it, and the video is sponsored by GanntPro! Favoritism much?!
Hi, I wonder do you use GTD system? what do you like or don't like about GTD and if you don't use GTD what system do you use to organize your tasks?

Gantt chart is the only way for complex projects..
Gantt chart = Linear progression through the project with parallel threads.
Kanban = parallel tasks
micromanagers the lot of you
Gantt
Great information but Kanban is pronounced KonBon, not CanBan.
