Nice review. I've had this phone for a couple weeks now. For me, it's perfect for my needs, and the compact size is great. I came from a Pixel 4a, so I kind of knew what to expect. It's super smooth. Display is good along with decent speakers. They know how to make phones. I refuse to pay $1000 for a phone.
Got a 6a for $359 last week. The cheapest I ever spent on a phone with this much performance and support. Love the size of the 6a over the 6 as well. Done carrying a brick in my pocket all day.
Yeah it's GREAT for that price! People are missing how big of a deal that form factor is. And sales are coming for the Pixel 6a, so it's worth people looking out for. I see it for $299 (with activation with a big carrier) at Best Buy, it does charge an activation fee when you do that, gets you a similar price to what you paid, but yeah, people need to look out for this phone
I just picked up a pixel 6a for £216 on a contract as a second device. Honestly at that price point it's an absolute no brainer, a very decent quality phone that will probably give you several years usage for a very budget friendly price.
I'm just wondering if a Google Pixel 7 will be worth the extra cost (or if a Google Pixel 7a would be 'good enough', even though it won't come out until mid-2023).
The newer model will always be better. It's coming out soon too. But it will be more expensive. At least $600 for the Pixel 7. The Pixel 6 is down to $500. Even the Pixel 6a is down to $369 on Amazon right now. You can wait until the Pixel 7 and get a great phone if you don't mind spending a little more. They will fix some of these minor flaws. Or you can go with the Pixel 6 and 6a and save a little money. Either way it's a win imo
Fair enough! I don't hate the niners. Nothing against them. Also even though I've been a Vikings fan we've been in mediocrity for awhile. Kirk Cousins just won't cut it. So I'm not as die hard as I used to be when we had Culpepper and other stars. Hopefully Trey Lance works out for the Niners!
2:35 250$ phones come with 120hz screens so im pretty sure the majority will find that 60hz pretty bad. I took a look at it and coming from the OnePlus 9 120hz screen, the 6A is bad. It became a deal breaker. Ofcourse there are some things the 6A does better like the customization options which is a deal maker for me but that terrible screen was just mood killer.
Honestly though, after I used it for a day or two I really stopped noticing. Most 120hz screens at $250 have processors that can barely keep up or they have bad LCD screens rather than OLED. In fact, most of them go down to a 720p resolution to get 120hz at that price. I'm being honest, the smoothness of the Pixel 6a with a flagship chip makes up for much of the 120hz just by being smooth. With all that being said, once you use a flagship phone with 120hz, it's difficult to go back. OnePlus 9 vs 6a, I'd pick the OnePlus 9. This is a great phone for an average consumer who wouldn't notice too much. My wife never seems to notice 🤣. I can completely get why you would pass on it
Please take a moment to step out of ur own ego and realize that there is a huge market out there for people who prefer the small compact size. Google gave us 3 different variants at 3 price tiers. Explain to me how that's a scam when they r giving consumers a choice
I won't go as far as sidog... I will just say that you can get the Pixel 6A at best buy for $299 right now. Sales are flying in left and right on the 6 and the 6a, so it's normally at least a $100 price difference if not more. And like sidog said, some would pass on wireless charging and 90hz to get a smaller phone and save $100
With all due respect, cant focus on review, please just trim down and if you cant (due to some cultural reasons), please put some wax or something because its so distracting.
This is my first video I've made with a video editor. So give it some love!

You are dead on. The compact form factor is a big deal. The lightness is a big deal. The battery life is good too.
Great video as always
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Got my 6a with free earbuds AND a $300 trade-in - pretty unbeatable value even with all of the downsides
Crazy good deal

Very good comparison video. Do the phones have NFC?
Both phones have NFC. NFC is normally a guarantee when you are above $300. Though there are some phones that don't I guess, that's always a bummer
Hey! great videos! are you also on audea?
I'm not, no
There's no good pixels now until I see those seven models

For sure! A great deal
I have the pixel 6 and very happy.
It's a great phone! My wife is now using the 6 and she loves it too!
@@AndroidDigest I had a. Pixel 4xl before and I lived that too. I am always happy with pure Android phone. I favor pixels

Is there motion Shot in 6A?
I'd spend $50 bucks more to buy a 6 rather than a 6a.
And many people are there with you. But the Pixel 6a is down to $369 on Amazon right now. It changes the equation a bit
Save up for the Pixel 7
Or get the Pixel 6 for $400 in mint condition on eBay
wisely, wait for the 7 or buy the Pixel 4XL the Pixel 6 series sucks, in design, and that damned fingerprint.. a horror show
I personally love the design, but the fingerprint sensor is a little slow.. If it's a problem, sure, wait for the 7, it's coming very very soon
Liked the video, the hat, not so much
Do you support cheese heads?

6a is a scam especially when the 6 is within a couple dollar in most places
