I recently converted to Catholicism after many years of attending mass with my husband and I’ve found your channel to be an incredible resource. I’ve never felt more connected with God then I did after receiving the Eucharist for the first time, it was a truly beautiful experience. It’s made us go from a “go to mass when we feel like” family to an “attend mass every Sunday + all holy days of obligation” family. We’ve also recently started praying every night with our kids before we go to bed and my son, who is 3, almost has the Guardian Angel prayer memorized. It brings so much joy to my heart seeing how much he loves to pray and loves God. He’s an inspiration to me to learn more about Catholicism and how I can best serve God. I greatly appreciate you and your channel. You’ve truly been a blessing for me, as I continue along this faith journey. God bless.

Omg I've had 4 c sections and I'm naturally slender but I have a tummy. I get asked ALL. THE. TIME. If I'm pregnant. It's so depressing. People should NEVER ask. Ever. I've had neighbors come out and congratulate me. I'm like for what? The burrito I just ate?

It happened to me the other month. After my second child which was also my second csection, my tummy is prominent. I look in the early stages of pregnancy.
I had 5 c sections....

I'm doing Walking With Purpose at my parish too! I am really enjoying it. We're doing Keeping in Balance this year. It really makes you take a good look at yourself. No fluff in this program. It's made me think about things and my journey to holiness in a different way. But it also creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Where you can be challenged but also share your heart. I really love how it's structured too. With multiple different groups meeting at different times throughout the week. So more women are able to join. And then getting together with all the groups once a month. It's a program that will welcome and challenge you where ever you are in your faith.

Low tech/slow tech is definitely the way to go with kids... and really all of us. We joke about tech addiction, but it's a real thing. If it wasn't, we couldn't all relate to the joke. We need to take a step back and realize what we're doing to our kids.
Great video! And yes Gabi’s video on mental prayer is life changing. I close my eyes in a quiet place and picture myself in a biblical location with Jesus, what he wearing etc. I sit with
Him and talk to him and imagine what he would say back to me and I always hug him. If you allow yourself and just focus on you and Jesus it is life changing.

Thank you for this video! If you have more info on the bad effects of phones on kids, that would be great. So many of us are affected by societal pressure to give our children the latest technology. We need to hear more of how it affects them.

I lost 30 and flattened stomach at 55 cutting carbs and upping protein but mainly I feel not eating after 7 most nights. That was hard but I don't miss it much now. Keep up the good work!

Hi Heather! At the end you're talking about social media and the kids relationship with computers and the gap phone that only texts/calls. You then go on to say that you could make a whole video on this topic. Could you please? I want to hear you discuss this more, especially as my husband and I are only just starting our family and will have to think about these things eventually (We had our first this May.) Also, I noticed for me that certain dresses that I wear make me look pregnant. The dresses that have that high waste makes people think of pregnancy and it can emphasize the belly. I stay away from that style. No high waste for me!!! Lol
The only time I wished my kids had a phone was Friday. When my daughter’s school was on complete lock down because of an active situation. 😢😢 so scary

Just beautiful . I’m a very happy Nonna who has two grandkids from my daughter Michael 6 and Marianna 4 . My hubby and I are practicing Catholics. Our two adult children Pasquale 44 and Rosanne 42 were practicing Catholics but since their confirmation and about a year more they stopped going my son was an altar boy too . My priest said leave them alone thell come back when they’re ready . I told my daughter not to be a hypocrite if your are baptizing the kids you best better be going to mass every week and if you don’t take them we will . From 1 years old both kids came to church with us . I found such cute biblical cartoons of Jesus , Noah’s ark etc and you get string and sew around the whole card . Kids love them plus adorable mini books of Jesus . Michael starts ccd this year in preparation for his communion in second grade he already knows his prayers he knows all the miracles Jesus did and he knows the rainbow 🌈. So your doing an amazing and stick with Heather she’s teaching me a thing or two 🌻🌻🌻
I’m not Catholic but studying it after Mormonism. I love the openness to life teaching but what about couples who earn very little? I worry about hungry kids … can someone explain?
It'll be fine, my mom was a widow with 7 kids and sometimes we did go hungry...but we had eachother and it made us strive harder. Now we are all grown up and are eating quite well. =D Never fear being open to life, we are not guaranteed any number of children we want nor are we guaranteed our children will outlive us...we must lean on God and not on our own understanding when it comes to openness to life.

If you do want to try for another baby, red light therapy helps some women with fertility. God is not a God of contradiction. He’s Word is Eternal and for all times. I’ve questioned myself the same thing but then I remember His word was meant for all times . And in that specific topic there are several references in the Bible.
