WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF STREET FIGHTER 3! I don't even play the game much anymore, but what a wonderful track this is. For crying out loud, please make sure that the next iteration of Street Fighter i.e., Street Fighter 5 or an update to SF4 has a track that is as pumping as this one.
The pause before the “RESURRECTION” drop makes me think of a montage where one of the fighters has gotten through all the others, knocked Gill down and turns to walk away, only for Gill to resurrect…and then the player character launches into comboing the absolute crap out of Gill until he stays down for good.
I'm so glad that Capcom went back to the 3rd strike routes for SF6. the last time we ever got this aesthetic was in 1999, now in 2023 it absolutely slaps

And was a competitively viable game ON PURPOSE (not because the developer wasn't thinking when he added in a potentially game-changing mechanic) And has a decent community that isn't always fighting with the communities of the other games in the series. And is actually better than the games that came after it.

Come to think of it, the "Resurrection!" Part in the song is genius. Why? Well, Capcom brought this game back. It reintroduced third strike to players as they can play a game that was released years ago.
Never played this game but this used to be on my running playlist then I had my long ass dark night of the soul and I just fucking realized that shit needs to end. I NEED THE SUNRISE. Never played this game but this used to be on my running playlist then I had my long ass dark night of the soul and I just fucking realized that shit needs to end. I NEED THE SUNRISE.
