#56 Boss RC 505, MicroFreak, Volca FM, Volante, ZOIA

- Instead of using a drum machine/sampler, I put the Volca FM in charge of the rhythmic part today. And the MicroFreak acted as a string orchestra.
Volca FM:
1. The signal goes through the Strymon Volante.
2. I added a compressor and a low cut around 40Hz after the recording. The rest of the sound came from itself, no more effects were added.
MicroFreak:
1. Because I was using my both hands to create the arpeggio I wanted, I didn't have another hand to save it as a sequence. So I used "Hold" at first and then saved it. It was much easier than pressing "Shift" and "Sequence A/B" while your hands were busy.
2. I added a bit of reverb and stereo width in the mixing phase.

Dramatically ✅
That's a cool piece!
I have a very similar setup, although I'm just starting to explore it properly :)
Super nice sound
Beautiful, majestic!
nice! sounds
Think i saw the plant move😂😂
Super 🌟🙂↕️😌
So beautiful, you are so talented! I also have the rc505 but I don't understand your start record setting, how did you set it please?
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
I set a certain number of measures on each track beforehand. It will start recording and looping in fixed measures when I press the record button. But setting an exact tempo in the Boss RC 505 is required.
🤩🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏👍👍👍
Hi there I have a question) is it possible to sync the looper with other gear ? Thanks 🙏
Hello. How do you connect both a Volca and a Synth? I'd like to buy a 505 but I'm not sure about the connecting
They were connected by midi cables.
