I'm quite clumsy with Bb and with the part where the C gets the last of the Island Strum but I'll keep working at it. Great tutorial and particularly loving how you are really stretching our learning with strumming variations and new chords. I was beginning not to have to work so hard on new songs, but you are taking me out of my comfort zone and making me concentrate much more. No bad thing, which will hopefully improve my playing.

Good morning Lisa, stumbled across the channel the other day, just want to say thank you, as an older adult learner for the uke you do a wonderful job of breaking thinks down in an easy way to understand . Been a guitar play for many years. Thanks for the note on this one for annotating high or low G string. I have some set up in low G and others in the standard re entrant tuning. Hi Lisa, Like many I struggle with Bb when it follows a C. I improvise by playing E1 C2 G3 and I do not play the A string. So that gives notes Bb, D and F which is the correct triad for Bb.I find this combination quicker than barring A and E string
So glad you found a hack. I do suggest that you don't give up on the "normal" Bb fingering. It allows you to do so many other cool things on the ukulele. I am teaching a class about that right now.
