I'm a Malaysian and the first time I used Firefly was a few weeks ago from Kuching to Penang. I'd say it was pretty good for a low cost airliner. The other Malaysian low cost carrier which is more famous that is Airasia don't even give complimentary snacks like salted peanuts, water and cookies (I love Famous Amos Cookies) and no jet bridges as you mentioned 😂.
Oh yeah one more thing is like is the backseat charging ports that has both USB-C and also USB-A. I think even Airasia for comparison don't have that. I'm not sure for other Low-cost carriers tho
Tho I do feel like firefly is revamping their marketing nowadays cuz I'm seeing more of Firefly on flights nowadays which was usually dominated by Airasia.

I agree with you, Firefly is pretty good for an LCC. That's great it seems Firefly is picking up routes previously dominated by Air Asia, which as you mentioned falls behind in many aspects.
      Sending regards to Malaysia!
