I learned that trick from a garage door installer/repairman when he came out to the house to fix a noisy opener. Turns out it was noisy because of the springs. Lubed it an everything was quiet again.
I think it’s hilarious that I have never heard about this until recently. I feel like a mushroom 🍄 😂

It had a sweeter chemical smell but it wasn’t strong and it didn’t last long.
