The big Japanese manufacturers must be having sleepless nights, this bike is gorgeous. And what an amazing price!
Yes I think you are right Alan, they are making some very nice bikes, nicely made and great to ride
But is it reliable like the Honda brand?
I have owned a lot of cruisers. This one looks pretty good to me. The forward controls aren't too far forward, it has nice lines and the belt drive is a bonus. A 650 version would be even better.
I was really impressed with the bike, very comfortable and smooth to ride, a 650 version would be great too
Or a 800, especially as they've recently released the cf moto 800mt and seem to use their engines in a number of variants.
@@jimbarrett8349 Oh yes, a 800 engine would be good as long as it doesn't mean that it will be overly heavy, it's a nice weight at the moment, easy to move around
Yes, I'm currently commuting on my Z900 and would switch to a 800 CLC if they ever make one.

Belt drive is a bonus for me. As is valve checks at about 24k miles when I was looking at the service manual.
Yes it’s good to check out these things, all the details matter too

Yes, being able to filter is so much better than sitting in the traffic especially on a hot day!

This might be exactly the perfect bike for my wife. She’s wanting to ride and my Vstrom is a wee bit tall given her vertically challenged state of 1.6m. I’ll definitely be watching for when these hit the US market

@BikerKazZ it'll probably be next spring honestly but she keeps asking more and more questions which is a great thing in my book. I was looking at the Rebel 500 when I realized this was coming to the US and for the price and equipment, it's really hard to beat the CFMoto.

The bober version is the one that looks more interesting for me. If controls are not forward, it will be in my garage in the next months
@@manuelabreu8764 it is a really nice bike, I was very impressed 😎 the foot pegs are forward but I thought it was quite comfortable to ride, definitely worth a test ride to see what you think 🤔 keep me posted as I’d be interested to hear what you think

A little thought or two. As it has belt drive it doesn't need a centre stand so win win...
The bike looks nice with the silver and red tank but I wonder if it would look nicer if the exhaust heat shield was painted silver and the silencer was alloy coloured.
I think the speedo needs a little sun visor/peak as a screen might take away from the whole vibe of the bike.
A few folk mentioned that they would prefer a 650cc version. That would be cool but please check out the CLC700 Heritage model. Not a belt drive but might be the one for some of you.

Hey Rab,
You could be right on the changes to the colour of the heat shield and silencer, little changes make can make a big difference to the look of a bike!
I would like to see a 650cc version too, I would never say no to a bit more power 😜

I know a lot of people have been comparing this bike to the rebel, but I was wondering how it would be against the Benelli 502c.

I have found the rear suspension on all cruisers to be far too harsh owing to the limited travel. What is this like?

In your opinion, would this be too small for a 6'1" rider with a 33" inseam?
@@kentoxymoron6857 I would certainly suggest you go for a test ride, I would have thought you’d be okay as it is foot forward riding position. Keep me posted as I’d be interested to hear how you get on 😎
I fit perfectly on it and I am 6ft. I doubt the 1 inch will make a huge difference.

@@kentoxymoron6857 31". I have a long torso. 😁 You will fit on it perfectly though man. You'll probably will sit more in a 90° angle with your legs than I do but it will still more comfortable compared to sitting on a naked bike. 😊
