  • I am sharing macrolepiota procera very tasty recipe. It is my favourite mushroom. The taste of it is similar to haddock to me.

    You do not wash them just keep them away frim sand and dirt.;)

    The first thing you did was wrong, don't pull them up, cut them off, otherwise you disturb the mycilia.

      I have been picking the same mushrooms from the same place for more than 15 years.

      From what I've read in Australia, that's apparently a well meaning, but erroneous idea. Pulling does not significantly disturb the vast mycelium that produces the mushroom.
