Sorry i got to excited to explained the movie. She is a mix. The original animated movie was a confusing mix of arabian and indian culture, so director of this live action try to provide an explaination and correct the original animated movie. The stories was set in middle east specifically near Jordanian river. Her mother the queen was an indian, that's where the Indian influence came from. Another thing was the kingdom was a centre of trade and port located near a river snd ocean in the desert loosely influenced by Silk road. Through the trade various culture including Indian culture was brought in. According to the director, they want this live action movie to feature agrabah as a centre of trade with a huge port and a mixture of various culture brought by merchant to this Kingdom in the Arabian desert like indian, central asian and north african. Her bengal tiger was influence by her mother culture and brought through trade. Her dress was based on the indian and Arabian dress with the original animated movie dress touch up. If you notice every woman around her wearing a type of traditional Arabian dress popular during Abbasid Empire and Jasmine is the only one different. By the way the collection of Arabian Night came from Abbasid Empire time, even though the Alladin was not part of the original collection and the writer was a syrian which explained why the character have Arabian name and "sultan" title even though was set in China. I mean Arab people in the past always have a saying to used China to refer far away land.

There's nothing wrong for a suitable Hindi dub in a Disney movie like Aladdin.
