And no 100 yr old vampire hitting on a blind virginal preteen attempting to change what a vampire has always been fictionally and trying to make him a sex symbol without actually showing him biting her with his fangs. Or Zhao Lusi in Dating in the Kitchen where she’s playing her babydoll character to an older man but somehow acts very mature at the end. Very forgettable.
The intro and the ending song both are just too perfect to skip! The casting is absolutely gorgeous. Really loved the moment where she freely danced around 🌷

I am here after watching two times A Tale of Rosie...❤ Such an amazing drama that was... story line acting is superb.....We can feel it each and every situation....That drama gets interesting from episode 3 onwards...you should definitely watch it.....its an inspectional story ❤❤
Correct synopsis: Li Rong and Pei Wen Xuan married at the age of 18. Li Rong used Pei Wen Xuan’s family background to avoid disaster, and Pei Wen Xuan used Li Rong’s identity as Princess to establish himself. They married for political reasons without the slightest bit of affection. Later on, she lost herself in the midst of wine, song and dance. As for him, he had a home yet did not bother coming home because he already had someone in his heart… Husband and wife for 30 years, yet nothing between them but power. In the end, it was hardly surprising that someone turned them against each other, leading them to die under each other’s schemes. However, when they woke up, they had actually returned to the year when they were 18 years old, returning to the most difficult time in their lives. So Pei Wen Xuan went to look for Li Rong. To be married again but with divorce in mind.

Like she has a baby face and mature face depending on the makeup and I think she can pull off the seriousness, calmness, magnificence and “you are all beneath me” vibe of shen miao. It’s just that her character here is a bit more childish and spoilt, naive so she shows more deep emotions but shen miao is the type that got hurt so bad, she’s done crying and nothing shows on her face anymore unless it’s satisfaction from successfully ruining the people who ruined her. I can see her pulling that off if her character was written more to be like that. She shows a bit of that vibe from time to time. I can perfectly see Zhao jinmai as shen miao when she’s drunk tho ❤️❤️

Aaaaand that same guy played an antagonist in princess wei young so he def could pull off his ruthlessness and badassery. I actually didn’t recognize him at first cause when I was watching jun jiu ling I was like, why is this guy so familiar… and someone pointed out in the comments how diff his character was from princess weiyoung and i was like… HOLEEESHRET! THAT WAS HIM?!!!!!? He was such a punchable face in that one and so fluffy in jun jiu ling! Isn’t that xie jing xing? Punchable face in one moment, shameless fluff machine the next?

This drama is so cute! It's really cute to see how the ML slowly breaks down the barriers that the FL has put up to protect her heart. Both leads in their second life communicated and worked to maintain their relationship and with each argument their relationship only got stronger. I recommend this 100% 🤣

And Kenny Lin likes to degrade the fls mercilessly in a couple of his roles, like Master of My Own. Someone commented that he plays those roles so well that perhaps he might kind of be that way in real life. Hopefully, he’s not.
Sometimes I think that a well-written romantic historical brings out the actor’s and actress’s acting abilities and diversity more than just being in a modern drama. Much of these Asian modern day dramas have characters that are one dimensional and cliche with an abundance of stereotypical behaviors. And don’t even talk about the younger rom/coms where everyone acts and plays juvenile schemes and are immature all the way until the last episode.
The first episode was interesting, unfortunately even though from the title of this drama the story is about the Princess I am liking the Prime Minister more. The fact that she was siding with the nobles against the King who wanted to protect the commoners makes her seem like a villain. I don't know if she will change in the future but for now I am not feeling her character as the protagonist of this story.
The ml looks so much better without the puffy lower lip that we’ve all seen in some of his previous series. He looks much more manly and not so feminine.
Watching till Ep 8. ML is ok. FL, I don't know what's with with her. She seems to be reading her lines. I can't see the chemistry at all, she's like, totally acting but cannot convince you she's a princess. The way she talks and body gestures totally, like modern era women, not in the ancient world, let alone a princess. But for now, nothing else to watch. It will be better if another actress takes this role.

Im really into historical kdrama but this past few years they korea only release few and some are not that good storyline im more into war revenge king queen fighting invading castle thats why i got into Chinese drama they have so many different types of historical drama with beautiful costumes high quality video and great FX editing they have so many king queen story i love this one ❤
