I bought my first battery using your discount code and not even 2 weeks later found the exact same battery on Amazon for $649.99, so I bought a second battery. I have them connected in parallel using a 24” 0/1 cable, I am using a Renogy rego 60 amp charger set at 20 amp. By default Most of my accessories are connected to my starting batteries except my 12 volt cooler, which I wired directly to the redodo battery bank . The rego has a reverse charge feature and does very well keeping the starting batteries above 12.4 volt 12.4-12.7 and although convenient, I feel that the price I paid for the charger was a bit extreme. By the way, I am an over the road truck driver in a 2019 freightliner cascadia. I also have 2-175 watt panels on the roof of the truck. I did all of this to save a little fuel on down time. I honestly believe I will receive a return on the investment in just a couple of years of using the set up.
I think it's safe to say nobody provides more "Data" in their videos than you do...do. That's a heckuva deal. Just a couple years ago it was common to pay that much for a 100AH, 12.8v, LiFePO4 battery, so the per watt-hour price has dropped by almost 50%.

Love your channel. These look really good I'm looking to getting a wind and solar set up for my house because of electric and gas keep going up and possible roaming black outs, etc. I was looking at your website, but everything is more geared to RV life, camping, and portable generators, etc. Have you considered expanding to whole house type systems? I've been looking at a few at the "Missouri Wind and Solar" who also have a RUclips channel and decent hybrid systems around $3,000 depending on the customization. I would love to see you review some of their hybrid systems and recommendations for compatible charge controllers (ones in the combo kit are not compatible with lithium batteries). I truly respect your opinion due to your diligent testing of products. Also, do you know how long your code will be active? They have free shipping available until October 28th (still have to pay tax) and would like to get a couple, but still figuring out which controller to use.

Alternators don't push more amps than they are capable of. If the battery can take a 100 amp charge and your alternator puts out a max of 80, then the battery will only charge at 80 amps. Alternators are made to handle high amperage charging as long as they have enough speed to keep cool.
Hey Tom, as per the drop in argument. How are the cells going to balance with a standard LA converter/charger on the RV? What about the alternator issues- low idle overheat, long duration overheat, fly back spikes etc? Every test I do shows 80% SOC is the realistic max. The remaining 20% takes days with the standard WFCO. Although I loved your use of the word flotsam, I’m baffled that you would recommend drop in without at least using a DCDC on alternator.
If I well understand... I do not need to change the converter of my RV to recharge this lithium battery? I thought a special converter was needed for lithium battery?
Thank you. I'm not seeing where you're testing the low temperature cut off, or did I miss where you already know it doesn't have one? Or maybe it has heaters? Do you ever test low temp cut off, by placing in a freezer or disassembly? It's a critical factor. Thank you! 🙏🏽✌🏽
I cant really tell how far away your IR thermometer is from the battery but for anyone using them, it is important to know that these contactless thermometers are not lasers, they take in thermal information from their cone of vision, and then average it, which means if you are 5 feet away from something, like a sparkler at over 1000F, but the background is 30F, the thermometer is probably going to read somewhere around 35-50F What annoys me is that this information is usually not on the device and only in the manual, who keeps/knows where that is when you're trying to stay as far away as possible from something that could be dangerous to be next to. My rule of thumb is to hold it an inch or 2 away from whatever i am trying to measure, and if it is reflective, first place a layer of black electrical tape over it for a minute or 2 as the thermometer tends to only measure the reflections

HI, question, is there a way to use this or any other battery (other than the official Ecoflow batteries) with a Delta Pro unit, I recently bought one and I would like to expand its capacity but looking for alternatives, if possible. Thanks in advance!!
I'm planning on using similar batteries with a Bluetti, just charge from the AC ports, and recharge by plugging the AC adapter into a seperate inverter. You lose some power both ways through the conversion, but you save a hell of a lot of money!
In addition to using a full-on AC inverter (which has efficiency losses on both ends) you can simply use a boost converter to get whatever voltage the EF Delta Pro wants to see. It's not rocket science, but you do need to know what you're doing.
