Well impressed with that sewing, even more impressed with you. You are amazing how you are coping, not sure how you feel about this but be assured you are being Prayed for. 🙏🏻👍🥰
Have a good weekend a well deserved break. It’s so good you are prepared to share all the things you go through at each stage as many of us are so unaware of these processes. I have nothing but respect for you sharing your personal journey so others can respond and relate which helps and supports others. Take care remember you must come first. Spain will be good for you both. ❤
I had an arrangement with the hospital I was treated, three times I had chemo and radio therapy, to stay there the night before and the night of the treatment in my campervan. Wishing you well Mandy my love.🫂❤️🫂
Dad had to ensure he had drunk enough when he had radiotherapy for prostrate cancer, he found he had quite a sensitive tummy for a while during and after treatment - peas used to be a particular culprit. Sending you lots of positive vibes - he’s 9 years clear of cancer now ❤
Could you please show John this if you read this, John you are amazing your doing absolutely everything you can for Mandy with out swamping her your love and support for her is absolutely spot on my partner listens and watches your chanel but he said he sees and hers how you talk about Mandy and his words was he loves her like I love you how blessed are they to have that and each other? He walked away tears in his eyes then came back in and said Mandy is going to be fine and tell John he's doing brilliant and just what's needed well done. Andrew went through this with me and I know just saying to him your wonderful, your so special you mean so much lifts them bless you both I hope this makes sense
I send you a virtual hug. My partner had a phone call from our local hospital and they are sending hus scan to Birmingham hospital for their views. So we are not getting on well. The only thing that keeps me going is watching your Utube channel xx❤
Hari OM Golly I'm late... had a birthday and some more van makeover to do. Good to catch up now though and am glad to hear you are getting things sorted and timed and better organised. Love your sewing hack! Keep smiling, gal! YAM xx
Thanks for your update. Have a good few days away and enjoy yourselves. A tough few weeks after and then you'll be through it. We're all here behind you x
Enjoy your “down time”. If you need to stay in bed just do it. All the emotions and planning make your mind tired and it needs a rest. A big step to get dates sorted. I only know you from RUclips but I’ve done the supporting family with cancer more than once and it’s tough ❤
Mandy, you are really strong. You are very positive and are being very helpful to others who may be going through treatment. Living life to the fullest and facing issues is a great and admirable positive attitude. I met John at the unit last year buying a few bits and bobs. My birthday is 14th May so I will be thinking of you and saying a prayer for you. Going full time a few days afterwards. On a practical note be prepared for routines and times being altered during treatment. It’s just the hospital are juggling lots of appointments and sometimes they might need to adjust them. It’s normal. Love to you, John and your friends & family. You can do this!! ❤ Graeme.
Hi Mandy, first spotted your channel via watching Camper Vibe. I’m following your journey from down under down under 😂😂 in Tasmania and just wanted to wish you all the best for the coming months and beyond. Thanks for documenting your treatment, I’m sure it will benefit many. Enjoy Spain (it seems amazing to me that a short break in Spain is even an option) of course it would be a massive trip from here! ✈️ 🇪🇸 🎉 Go well.
Your doing good mandy sending big hugs. Oh forgot to say because of you I went and had my smear and breast scan all on the same day , I hadn't had a smear for 17 yrs 🫢 xxx
Just listen to your body. I found it easier once surgery and treatment started. It was the waiting that was so difficult.I have my 1st infusion on monday. All the best lovely. I wish i had videod my journey for youtube. I am not a youtuber but wish i did for other going through a madtectomy as there not much out there xx
Lovely to see you being so positive as always. One thing about the inflammation on your arm. It might the hypoallergenic tape they now use instead of plasters. It makes my skin come out in hives and even blisters if left on too long. Worth suggesting the old sticky plaster type might work better. You can get the sticky off with baby oil afterwards. Sending positive vibes and big doggy kisses from my girls 🐕🦺🐾
You did really brill with the T-shirt. What a lot you’re coping with Mandy. I’m so sorry you’re both going through this tough time. Being in the south we’ve got no knowledge of the units you’re having to attend but it’s lovely to hear you find it a good space. Knowing the efforts gone in to locally to make the hospitals as ‘welcoming’ as possible does make a real difference. Thinking of you and all you’re loved ones and hoping you’re all managing to get some sleep (regaining strength and respite from an overactive mind) Sending healing thoughts. Xx
Good to hear things are moving on, love your sewing, I wouldn’ 't have thought of doing that, sorry I had to laugh at the things that the hospital had you doing. Have a good time at Willow Fields over the weekend , John I understand that you feel that things are taking so long and it’s annoying, but it will move fast soon. Love to you both. 🦋🦋
You are doing amazing! Keep up with the sewing a hobby is good when you have lots going on in your mind and you did a fab job altering your shirt 😊 All the very best with your treatment journey I live near there so reach out if you need anything ❤
All of those tests sounds impossible. Glad you were able to satisfy their demands. And I still see a smile on your face. The sewing project was amazing and glad you were able to fix that problem. I do hope you have a fun time at all of your events and your holiday away. I know you will cherish all of the memories and fun that you and John will have . Be safe and enjoy everything.
Bless u 😊 u’ve both had the hardest few weeks - but the first radiology apt meant that the reality of treatment is starting soon and so of course us would feel anxious stressed bewildered alone sad angry etc etc 😊 go with the flow x and take care of each other xx
Oh, what a palaver with the bladder etc. You did very well to manage that. Thanks for the full commentry on the procedure though, its very interesting to hear how they mitigate the risks of damage by filling the bladder to squash the bowel out of the way. I'm glad you're taking plenty of rest, though I guess the Willow Fields weekend probably take it out of you, so make sure you catch up. Take care now both of you. 👋 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦
Hi love glad to hear you are coping OK! I have a week off my chemo now which is great but I'm just so tired. I'm 60 on the 7th May and I just wanted to book 7 days in benidorm but I've been told I'm not allowed which is a real bummer so glad your able to go though. I was told my cancer is terminal with less than a year so I'm trying to get my head around it. Anyway hoping to bump into you at castlehill one day. Take care flower xxx
I’m so sorry to hear your prognosis, it must be hard to get your head around ❤️ I bet that’s a much needed break from Chemo though. What a shame you can’t get some sunshine while you’re waiting. If you do see me at Castle Hill, please say hi ❤️❤️
Cheers Mandy, great job on the sewing, I am the same as far as remembering I love sewing but don't get the machine and projects out often enough, it is great therapy! Thanks for sharing your health journey I am sure you are making a difference to awareness and just what does happen if you need treatment, makes it not so taboo subject.
I love you for being honest and sharing your hospital visits. As anyone who is steps behind you can listen and know what to expect. John,s reaction is normal but he,s doing a fab job supporting you. Have a great weekend both of you❤
You are doing really well… I totally understand when you get those times when you don’t want to get up… rest up when you feel like it but also get some fresh air when you can ❤❤
Mandy I love that you can still laugh, with John's comment about you t i t s, and what with having to Trump , wee and bowels. Your SOH will help you through. Have a great time camping and in holiday in Spain. Take care, love to you both x
So glad you are respecting your feelings and not shaming when you don't feel like getting out of bed! The unknowns to me make everything so much more difficult. ❤
Well done Mandy, so good that you can let other people know what to expect from your experiences. Thinking of you both and hope you have a nice rest in Spain xx
It’s all a learning curve.. Take everything one thing at a time… Your doing great, both of you… Enjoy the good things and times,to get you through the other bits.. ❤️ and 🙏🏻 to you both..👍🇬🇧
Been following you and John for a few years now. Appreciate you sharing the highs and the lows because life is such a journey with many curve balls for us to dodge or pick ourselves up from en route to a higher self and not just ☀️ and 🌈 Sending big hugs to you both plus strength and prayers as you navigate the next few months ❤
Mandy you are doing amazing. Keep your pecker up and remember you have John beside you. You will both get through this. Just keep wearing tight t- shirts for him🤣. Enjoy yourselves at Willow Fields hopefully it will keep you mind occupied. We are all with you 💯% ❤️
Remember John doesn't get to be strong in the way do You do .John is helpless, almost all of his agency has been removed from this situation apart caring for you as hard as he can .I watched my dad go through this I think John is doing better . All the best Mandy
You are amazing Mandy. You do you and if you want to stay in bed then do so you have loads on so take it easy and be kind to yourself. That T-shirt is a great success well done. I have been learning to sew for last 18 months by watching the sewing community on RUclips It is a great stress reliever and a great hobby. Hopefully we will see you at the Campout but I will be too shy to say hello but wish you well on your talks etc x
Really impressed with the sewing , enjoy a bit of sun 🌞, I nderstand where John is mentally I always remember my hubby saying one day that someone had asked how he was and it meant the world to him as everyone rightly always asks how you are but forget your partner is also going through it with you (obviously not the treatment ) but mentally 😢, they the ones that think they've got to be the strong one to support you which yes they have but they should realise sometimes its ok to not be ok and share their feelings thoughts aswell ❤
Love your little sewing machine, I have one similar they are great, t shirt looks good. I didn’t have all the faff like you with breast cancer but had to hold my breath with radiotherapy. Think John gets angry as feels helpless but we are all rooting for you. Pyjama day is good anytime so if that helps do it, it’s a lot to take in, maybe you feel nervous as reality setting in but you will smash this, especially with the wind, poops etc😂😂😂take care and look after yourself, love and hugs xx💚
T shirt looks brilliant x howling at your honesty x we now all know John is a boob man x I admire the ordeal you have with day to day life at the moment but you are acing it even if you think you’re not x we are behind you wishing you the very best x loads a love to you both xx

You are such a trooper Mandy. We have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow as we are going through a cancer journey as a family too and it’s such a scary time. Look after yourself and thank you for being so honest about your journey and what’s happening ❤
Thanks for making these videos and keeping us updated on your progress. I'm sure it can't be easy at times. You are an absolute inspiration, Mandy. Wishing you all the very best for success in your treatment. I just know all will be well, I can feel it in me water! 😉😘
By the end of this your gunna be able to wee wee , poop and fart to order. Fantastic party trick 🤭👍. It's ok to be scared now it's getting close and more real when you see the other poorly people. Great job with the t-shirt Mandy….no wonder you were knackered after that long, intense morning at the hospital 😮..onwards and upwards …and fingers crossed for some nice weather for you ❤️
Wow, what a performance, but I understand the importance of it all. What a whizz you were with that shirt! Some meds can make you more prone to reacting to things, so it might be the sachets that are making you a lot more sensitive. You've probably developed CFS/ME &/or Fibromyalgia during Menopause like a lot of us do, and this can make you a lot more sensitive. I had ultrasound on my hand for cyst and it hurt, but shouldn't, left my skin a bit red - same with my neck when I had an Ultrasound on my Lymph node. Hopefully it won't get any worse, maybe some Aloe Vera gel or similar might help - but make sure it doesn't have perfume or other things added to it, or that will make it way worse.
Well what an inspiration you are! Keep going - you must be making such a difference to so many people. Keep talking sh*t and p*ss and shining a light on these amazing procedures that are saving so many lives. Xx
You’re doing great Mandy. Chin up and keep taking each step forward. You’re not fighting this battle alone. You have the cancer community supporting you all the way along with your family, and friends. Thinking of you.
Love how you are seeing the humour in this awful ( temporary) situation, you do realise you have got us all trying to stop peeing mid flow, 😂. Brilliant bit of sewing t shirt looks great. And if you don’t feel like getting out of bed don’t. Wishing you all the best for the start of your treatment journey .
Good luck on your journey love. johns a great bloke and thinks the world of you. You can see that on camera by the way he looks at you all the sweet heart.😊
Yea I know but he’s got strength and his love for you is strong. But sometimes he’s going to need you to be strong for him . lots of cuddles and time together and please be honest with each other it will make your relationship bond and be stronger. Say hi to John.

Sounds pretty intense, your so brave. Nice sewing 😊 tc xx
Mandy the T-shirt is brilliant.
Ditto
By the end of this your gunna be able to wee wee , poop and fart to order. Fantastic party trick 🤭👍. It's ok to be scared now it's getting close and more real when you see the other poorly people. Stay strong sweetheart and know wer all behind you and holding your hand tight right threw your treatments. Mandy's army ago go. 👍❤️😘
U have a beautiful clear, bright eyed face 😊😊
Hi Mandy great to see you upbeat and trying to be positive great job on T-shirt thinking about you keep safe 😊👍🏻
Mandy what a brilliant job you did on the T shirt, and I have to say royal blue is definitely your colour, you looked great. Take care xxxx
Great job the T-shirt looks good.Sending love and take care as always xx
You are doing so well Mandy, it’s all a lot to take on.
Look after yourself x
Top sewing there Mandy. Sounds horrid all those tests, you have a nice holiday break coming to Spain, we’re here currently and the sun is shining. ❤
You made a cracking job of the T shirt 👌
Sweet!
Thinking of you keep going you are doing great love to you and John ❤❤❤❤
Good luck on your journey love. johns a great bloke and thinks the world of you. You can see that on camera by the way he looks at you all the sweet heart.😊
He is a real sweetheart, I just wish I could take his worries away but being the biggest source of them is hard when I hate to see him struggle ❤️
Yea I know but he’s got strength and his love for you is strong. But sometimes he’s going to need you to be strong for him . lots of cuddles and time together and please be honest with each other it will make your relationship bond and be stronger. Say hi to John.
Sending love and healing to you both ❤xxx
