These things are little beasts, they come to life with some clutching and ECU tune to where you can really do some spirited riding. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for an honest review. I ride a 600 and wandered if the 400 would be good enough for my 9 yo Grandson.

Love the cfmotos c forces and when u went full throttle if youda stayed in it on more even ground youda deffenitly gotten a faster pace.

Only complaint is they are removing the left side rear brake lever on the handle bar. But instead you get a foot brake lever that sits higher than your foot. So you have to take your foot off the foot well to hit the brake. Where my 2002 bear tracker foot brake is even with the foot rest so you just have to flex your foot downward. Othwise these cfmotos are giving big names a run for their money.

You have to make sure you feel it engage in the low gear or it will skip out and make that noise make sure you push it all the way up I've ridden the 500 and own the 600 Models and they'll all pretty much do the same thing if you're not engaged properly in first.

Do you feel like yours lacks power compared to other 400? I have this same machine as you and a kingquad 400. Going up the same hills I bog down and stop on the cfmoto while the Suzuki screams up in. And I am referring to while in high gear.
Thinking about re clutching it perhaps. Thoughts?

I am a CF Moto 400 L owner and I put my bike through hell the clutch has to go when you’re in the mud because the factory and they got the rubber plastic over the things on the clutch but you gotta upgrade your clutched the third stage and when you do that you change the exhaust and now you got a 500-35 horsepower difference between the 2 to 500 and the floor on so I made mine up to fivehunters with the clutch in the exhaust and I’ve poured my bike through hell and it runs the one in there and then bikes are actually made for roads as they have lingers in the horn and all that but we’re on from Nova Scotia they want to lower only just across the road and just go through the trails and turn my blinkers on on the trails I don’t know why but they’re assholes down here

Those USB ports are stock, i bought this same model new for my son and he loves it. Also the little rubber piece to the left of the shifter, if you pull that up you'll find a keyhole that if you use the ignition key you can lock the shifter in Park.

I buy and sell a lot so that ones already left the shop, but I've owned several and they're wonderful machines. I 100% recommend them
