So to explain the storyline in Infinite's "Back" MV, the girl was supposed to be Sungkyu's (the leader of Infinite and the leader of the group of friends in the MV) little sister. She was kidnapped by a gang to lure the Infinite members to them in order to take revenge on them, for something, we don't know what. In the flashback we see that Sungkyu's little sister has a crush on L and she tries to dress up and look mature kind of like a schoolgirl crush. L thinks she is cute like a little sister -- all he really thinks of her is just the little sister of his friend and leader of the group. He humors her, but she is too young for him. However, like the tight-knit group that they are, all the members of Infinite are very loyal and they all look out for the girl like she is all of their little sisters, so when she is in danger they all jump in to try and rescue her. The girl is in love with L so that is why you see her act extra upset when she sees him getting hurt and why she tries to run to him, etc. At the end we see the group jump into action with their last ounce of fight they have left, and avenge L being attacked. We just have to assume that they overtake the gang and rescue the girl. That is one thing about Infinite's MVs, they often are open ended and most of the time they end on a cliffhanger. Also, L is most often the lead in their story-based MVs because he is the actor of the group and he is one of the top Idol actors who has been in numerous K-dramas and movies. He is really good at showing emotion and really throwing himself into every role he plays to make you believe his every emotion is exactly how he really feels and everything that happens to him is real. That's why this MV is so believable. He is one of my favorite K-drama actors. L's personality on and off screen is very unique. He is very quiet, cute and shy -- he is one of those silent brooding types that you never know what he is thinking because he often keeps to himself, but he is also extremely manly and tough and you can tell that he would protect the people that matter to him with his life. Infinite debuted in 2010, 2 years after SHINee. They are originally a 7 member group but, Hoya, their main dancer (one of the best dancers in the industry), lead rapper and vocalist, left the group about 3 years ago; and L left the company last year, but he has alluded to the fact that he plans to still continuing activities with the group in the future. SHINee and Infinite are the groups that started the trend of sharp synchronized choreography. Infinite is known for their sharp, knife-like synchronization. It wasn't until groups like SHINee and Infinite came along that people really started to up their game and pay attention to detail when it came to choreography. All the amazing dancers and dances of Kpop groups today, owe their impressive dance moves to groups, such as Infinite and SHINee. It was these groups that started it all and convinced people that if they wanted to compete for a top spot in the industry they really needed to put the time and effort into making their dances look flawless with a high degree of complexity and skill. Infinite is also known for their unique sound and style and how most of their songs include classical string instruments as part of their sound. It is said that you can tell it's an Infinite song just by the sound and style of the song within the first few seconds because Infinite songs are different than all other Kpop songs. There is always an element of the sound of their songs that makes them stand out.

They just really stand out, especially live. Infinite is one of those super rare groups who manages to sound even better live than they do in studio. I know you probably don't take requests because you must get a lot from RUclips comments but if you ever find the time, I really recommend watching their live version of Dilemma (from Dilemma tour). This along with Bad and The Eye are my Holy Trinity of Infinite songs. The Eye must be next, some say it’s a continuation of the storyline of Back (but I honestly go back and forth about that.) The Eye was the first Infinite song I heard and it is unapologeticly my favorite. It also has theory videos to explain the music video that I would suggest watching after you see it!
