To this day , i have the whole italian great escape on my old pc, i watch it with joy and pleasure, love all the families that he stayed at. Thank Jamie Oliver !
I watch Jamie at some point every day, even for just a few minutes. He always lifts my spirits with his enthusiasm, and thirst for culinary knowledge. I think I am just a little bit in love with him. which is saying something for a woman of my advanced years. I hope he is always available for viewing here in Canada.
Jamie. A man on a lot of missions. Seafood!. Why is it when you want us here in the UK to buy seafood caught here in the UK when it is cheaper to fly to Hong Kong and buy it fresh from the UK there? Maybe it's because when the people that catch the fish and shellfish try to sell to it here in the UK they can't. They ask too much for it then have to offload it abroad.
“Doesn’t really look Italian. Looks more like Turkish or Italian”. As a Turkish no it doesn’t buuuttt Greeks and Turks and Italians had a lot to do with each other throughout history. Culture and people are also extremely similar 😊

I just love Jamie's positive vibes. His passion for food is inspiring.
Loved this Jamie, seeing the passion, fun and challenges in the kitchen. What a fun chef Giovanni is! And such a beautiful place!

I think many Chefs would love to do that - they're extremely creative and probably become bored of cooking from a menu every night.
Love the way you can do anything you put your mind to Jamie.
I'd love a follow-up show with this guy.....brilliant 😍 ❤
I loved this! Watching that wonderful chef and his love of food and life!
Wow all that food looks great but please bring Giovanni back! What a guy
This was a long time ago
Filmed in 2005
I’ve watched this episode many times, always great.
The octopus looks great
Giovanni is great. Love him.
"now I'm cooking, I hope God will help me"
Most serious Mediterranean work ethic!

gottasay that was superb well done Jamie all credit
Loved it enjoyed so much thanks
What a good cook
Beautiful story
It's not Gee Oh Vani. It's Joe vanni. A g and i combination in Italian followed by a vowel is a J. That's why there is no J in Italian.
Great show! Love italy
Loved it 💞
We’ll done Jamie 😊
