On actually has two music videos. This one is more cinematic and tells a story. The other one is On:Kinetic Manifesto and in my opinion it fits the song better.
If anyone doesn't understand the MV or thinks it doesn't "fit" then they are baby ARMY and don't don't know or understand the 'BU' yet. The storyline is magnificent & totally worth going down the rabbit hole. It's TRUE artistic genius.
@@loular08 Not gonna deny that this video is amazing. I was just stating my personal opinion so you are in NO place to gate-keep ARMY. I am in no way "new" to ARMY but those who are should not be discouraged by those like you. Please show respect to everyone.
That intro was hilarious 😭 Do know that ARMYs are just genuinely invested in you learning more about the boys and appreciating them. We have their best interests in mind and can be very protective of them. Please understand. They’ve been through a lot of racism, hate, and xenophobia. Loved the genuine reaction though and can’t wait for you to go through more content! I agree with everyone else you should check out the Kinetic Manifesto film OR one of their live performances. 🤍💜 Hope to see another vid soon!
One of the reasons they're so big yet a lot of people haven't heard of them is that they refuse to play by the crooked rules of the industry. They won't pay to have their songs played on the radio, they won't pay to have articles written about them, they don't use bundles to climb the charts etc. They believe in making good music for the sake of the art of music and are very involved in the entire proces. Their lyrics are very deep and often about unusual topics like astronomy, socio-economic issues, mental health problems, self-scrutiny, greek mythology, Jungian psychology, classic litterature etc. These guys are the real deal. They've paid their dues and then some, rising up from nothing and defying all odds while sticking to their principles. And quite uniquely they're all extremely talented in so very different ways and they don't step on each other trying to out-shine each other. Even as human beings as well they all shine with hearts of gold and have contributed to and inspired hundreds of philanthropic projects all around the world. And yet they're some of the funniest, most humble crackheads you'll ever find. 😂 (I can't recommend Taylor's intro video enough.) 💜 Happy BTS journey 💜 - from a danish ARMY, age 45
Jin is the worst vocalist in kpop that i know and its funny some blind or i say deaf armys calls him silver voice😬he always ruins live perfs with his voice ,he can only sing stable if hes standing still..jk has the most stable voice, jimin voice is high pitch but its perfectly fit with his solo songs while V my bias is mediocre..im an army for 6yrs now but i always knew my faves weakness and im not those kind of fan who blindly or deafly compliments them, its cringy..
Also in 6 yrs of being army i still cant rewatch their live perf with charlie puth coz after of jks part and when the members voices came in its all a mess and i was getting a second hand embarrassment for them and i still cant understand y armys think that it was one of their best live perf🤨
As for the rap line the main rapper suga and rm are for me the best in kpop while jhopes voice doesnt suit rapping..i always gets attacked for my honest opinion about them some armys telling me im not a real army😅they didn't even know that bts is the only group i stanned after bigbang but i guess for them being a fan is being blind.🤣 i like all bts songs except dna and i love their dancing in live performances too also their attitude but their vocalists vocals for me is just so so.
ON era and their entire "Map Of The Soul: 7" album was made during a very hard time for the BTS members as a group, they were supposed to go on a break to rest and refresh their artistic talent right after this era after the stadium world tour but then COVID happened, the tour was cancelled and their plan was interrupted so they kept going by releasing Dynamite (which was a happy non planned accident) , then self made/produced BE album then Butter and Permission To Dance.. They kept releasing side projects and free songs as well during the pandemic and doing their thing cuz the world stopped and it needed joy.
Jungkook is the man your talking about with a very unique different range of voice. He is the youngest member and the main vocalist of the group. Enjoy discovering bts more 💜
8:10 that's Jungkook aka JK he's the main vocalist , lead dancer and sub rapper of the group He's so damn talented and his vocal range and versatility is wide it's so damn amazing to listen to him sing .
@@andreaforro7904 Jungkook and Jimin are lead dancers. Only Jhope is the MAIN dancer just as only Jungkook is the MAIN vocalist while V,Jin or Jimin are lead vocals because some songs start with them leading before Jk as the main vocalist takes over.
If you want other versions of these incredible guys, you should listen to BORN SINGER live version. This song is been writing by the members one month later than their debut so in 2013. This is one of my favorite song with a such a great meaning behind, (as all the BTS songs have and this is their strenght), and you can understand better these human beings, their emotions and how the basics of their singing and performing were already so high from the beginning, also on the stage. So the title of the song fits perfectly for the performance and for their selves obviously. Hope you can enjoyed the video and also many others. Thank you :) P.S: Anyway, for answer at some of your questions, the guys didn't know each other before been chosen by the label, so completely strangers at first. The BTS, (initially born as an hip-hop group), is formed by 3 rappers and 4 vocalists, so 7 of them from 25 to 30 years old now, and all are good dancers as well. Also, all the seven members wrote and produced their songs as well, but the main writers and producers of the group are the 3 rappers: RM (the leader of the group), SUGA and J-HOPE. For more information about these guys you can watch other videos that are Introduction to BTS. I hope i gave to you a little bit of help :)
Yes, "Born Singer Live 2015" with embedded English captions is the one to see. ruclips.net/video/8cUQ3lF3_O8/видео.html It was shortly after their first major award that proved their worth to the world and they end up crying. That was the performance that made me a fan forever!
BTS have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Since you were impressed with the vocal range of Jungkook (the one singing the high notes in this music video), you will be amazed when you discover the versatility of the other vocalists in the group. In their albums, they have sub-units where the rappers and vocalists showcase their talents through different songs. I highly recommend that you watch their LIVE performances, coz they are on a different level. Looking forward to more of your reaction videos and your journey to the BTS world.
Hi there from across the pond, Germany calling 😉I'm one of the older army here, 57 years young. Dig deeper into the rabbit hole from BTS and I promise you won't be disappointed. I have bin into kpop since2011 and know BTS short before their debut in 2013 and since then I fall in love with them. Enjoy your journey to know the boys (sorry, they are grown men, but for me they are like the boys in 2012). Enjoy it 💜 borahae💜
I live in Germany too, though I'm Croatian with roots from Albania and Kosovo, ARMY is all over the world. Also I noticed that "I have *bin* " lol, it happens to me too that I write habe instead of have sometimes XD
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is BTS! They are the most talented, funny, dorky, humble, artistic men I've ever been a fan of! I hope you enjoy the journey. 😊💜
There is so much to break down and reference about ON. First, there are two official MVs. The one you watched and the kinetic manifesto film. Both are stunning so I would recommend watching the other one as well. ON was released on the CD Map of the Soul 7, and it touches on very different themes most of them related to what fame has done or is doing to them as individuals and as a group. Interlude Shadow and Black Swan are two songs on the album that reference the struggles of this unexpected rise to world fame that they have accomplished. ON is a song that expressed fortitude in the face of pain and difficulties. As you continue on your journey down the BTS rabbit hole, you will learn that BTS has struggled from the very beginning and everything that they have accomplished has been through hard work and belief. ON is the pinnacle of their experience as artists. Them finishing with the words "No more dream", as their first single was called, and transition into "dream" referencing how the past and the present are one as well as saying they have achieved their dream
Watch the vocal line as they're top notch - The Truth Untold, House of Cards, Dimple, most of the Japanese songs - are examples. Go with the live version vs color coded lyrics. Or do both reactions at the same time. Amy doesn't mind long reaction videos. The rap line is equally amazing (Ugh, ddaeng, cyphers 1-4) but maybe save that for later. Each member also has solo songs (Singularity, Euphoria, Serendipity, Epiphany)
Abigail is starting to dip her toes into the BTS Universe! That bird they let free near the end of the video was indeed the dead bird from the beginning hehehe
I suspect you'll hear "Not that one the 'Kinetic Manifesto' one" a lot in the comments. This one is beautifully shot but general concensus seems to be that Army tend to recommend the performance MV first. It kinda hits very differently despite being the same song.
I've watched three of your videos. Oh my god... I love your honesty and politeness in the beginning of knowing "who bts is". Thank you for trying to listen to bangtan music.
All of them are so talented and good, they have distingue voices for sure. They have their styles and come together to make bops. The one you were impressed with is Jungkook, our talented youngest, he's an incredible singer and the main vocalists. You will see that they're all talented though and can wow you.
Since you liked "My Universe", you should watch the behind scenes of them making the song. Chris Martin actually went to South Korea to record the song with BTS.
Please react to 'A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7' by Taylor. She did a really good job and and I'm sure you're gonna love to know more about them, so please react to that one!!💜
i literally discovered your channel a few hours ago, saw your 2 bts reactions and was excited for more so i subscribed and now you guys just posted haha super excited for y’all to dive in some more i suggest black swan next!!
When you’re ready for some live stages here are two excellent ones! Outro: Tear (live with English subs) - this is the rap line and it was written by Suga when the band considered disbandment ruclips.net/video/UDuaJGYe8EQ/видео.html The Truth Untold (live stage mix with English lyrics) - this is a staged mix of the vocal line performing this song ruclips.net/video/q9yaP4wZ_tI/видео.html
O.N has 2 MV's. Personally, I find this wonderful because of the cinematography, the symbolism, etc, but this song and its message is energetic, so the Kinetic Manifesto Film Come Prima version is spectacular since you can see the movements of them and the dancers. Don't stop watching that one. By the way, they were impressed by JK's sharpness, because as they get to know BTS they will know that the 4 vocalists have ranges that exceed 3 octaves. JK is a tenor (and the main vocalist), Jin is a lyrical tenor and could even fall into light (recognized as a silver voice), Jimin is a counter tenor (a delicate but very powerful voice) and V is a baritone (with a deep voice and the widest range).
Pls react for their live performances 👍Stay gold 👍Your eyes will tell 👍Fix you cover by bts 👍 Serendipity live jimin solo act 👍 Butter grammy 2022 performance And the 👍updated version of bts introduction To know more about them 💜💜💜
Loved your honest reaction. Keep it up. You will definitely love the BTS journey. Stay tuned. Here are some suggestions to react to 1)ON-Kinetic manifesto 2)Blood sweat and tears (based on 'Demian'. Several topics from the coming-of-age novel were portrayed in 'Blood, Sweat, and Tears'. The book follows a young boy's maturation as he grapples with good and evil, lightness and darkness, and forges alternatives to the ever-present corruption and suffering that he sees all around him) 3)Black Swan 4)Dope 5)your eyes tell 6)Louder than bombs 7)House of cards(vocal line) 8)Ddaeng (rap line) 9)Ddaeng explained by korean (DKDKTV)
The other version of ON called the kinetic manifesto is much more impactfull and you can enjoy the song and the superb dance and choreo. They are fantastic in it.
You’re definitely going to see a lot more story telling in almost all their MVs even though some will definitely be confusing because it is linked to a fictional storyline that runs in the group. There is a second MV of ON and it’s more like filmed in one location and you’ll see more of the choreography. You need to watch the live performance of ON, you’ll be way more blown away by Jungkook’s voice (the guy that sang the bridge) and all their voices. They’re amazing performers, singers, rappers and dancers. Also hope you get to xceleste’s brief introduction to BTS along with the longer version recommended in the comment section which has been updated as of May of this year
HAHAHA I'd forgotten about this intro and the things you said back when you had no idea, it's still so funny XD It's a trip watching these again for real
Felt nostalgic. Rewatching your journey into the rabbit hole... LOL Abby "if I was 16..." and now you're all ready to fight anyone who dares disrespect our guys. 😆 Weird to think it's been 8 months already - no Xen and you couldn't tell them apart yet. I only fell down the same rabbit hole like 4 months before this video was posted and I can't believe how much I've learnt and how hard I fell for these 7 ordinary boys from Korea.💜💜
They love storytelling through music because its such a relatable and powerful form of a different kind of communication. *BTS gets much of inspiration and motivation from life, fans’ love, books they read, movies and tv shows, art, etc.*
BTS members are truly amazing and so kind too. They are amazing artists, writers, singers & dancers and they are so much more too.All of you will learn a lot from them.
First and foremost WELCOME to the journey that is BTS. You will go down some crazy rabbit holes and hear some really amazing music. The talent these 7 men have is unmatched and the fact all 7 are in a group together is a blessing to our ears. IGNORE...IGNORE...IGNORE...ANYONE who cries about you pausing...because they will. Please pause and discuss..thats the point of reactions and I feel like people dont remember that...if people want to hear the songs they should forgo a reaction and watch the original...honestly lol. I saw the comment in the last video about the age and knew the downpour of comments was coming 🤣 One thing you will learn about ARMY is we are strong and we are a force lol. Some can be very immature but majority of us are very very helpful. I am ready to watch future videos of your BTS journey and I look forward to you learning more about the guys and becoming ARMY as its an inevitable thing lol. NO one watches BTS with an open mind and says "nah, I dont think I will be a fan".
WOAH! jungkook's always center of attention his voice so clean and beautiful and i live for it that man is jk the youngest and the main vocalist of the group he is the most talented person and he is prefect for everything🔥💯
You still have to get to know them a lot. They have more interesting lives than just music. You won't wonder why people love them. You will get wow ! many more times 🤩🤩
The live performance video I pretty awesome too. Love the one they did on Jimmy Fallon. The vocal line of bts is insane. JK'S voice is beautiful. Jimin also has an incredible range. Crystal Snow is a beautiful ballad that shows it off. Jin's voice too. There's so much for you to see and hear!! I'm excited for you!!
Yes, this was the experience we wanted for you! 😁 We love the English songs, but BTS's true artistry lies in their own language. Loved the humourous beginning, that's the right way to handle us when we get a little too intense. 😅😉 Will subscribe.💜
I'm a fan of BTS and i'm a fan of Coldplay, so i was freally happy to know they would do a song together. Maybe you want to check out the song. And there is a documentary how they recorded the song. It's very interesting.
It is so fun seeing reactors learn about BTS. We basically get to watch your journey in real time as you go "down the rabbit whole" They are considered the greatest boy band since the Beatles. Just to worn you what is going to happen. Eventually you will even recognize them from behind regardless of hairdo, you will recognize them by their voice, you will learn their stage names, Korean names, and nicknames, you will learn the back story of each one - best dancer, best singer, best sense of humor, etc., - you will become massively emotionally invested and root for them wholeheartedly, you will wonder where you have been this whole time, you will even learn a tiny bit of Korean without even trying. Trust me, it happed to us all😃. They probably have the most loyal fans of any music act on the planet right now. Here is the video I used to learn all their names. ruclips.net/video/W4mmfzFazoI/видео.html There are lots of videos of them on American talk shows which are huge fan favorites and a great way to learn about their personalities and a lot of fandom inside jokes. They did two hilarious sketches with James Corden. Carpool karaoke and Crosswalk concert. P.S. you will probably get a HUGE increase of subscribers if you start reacting regularly to BTS. P.P.S. Army loves it when new people join the fandom and try to be very helpful in the comments. Ask any question in the video and it will get answered multiple times over.
Army can be overwhelming because we just too excited to introduce you'll to them and we're huge. Please don't feel pressure and take your time😂 and if you receive any harsh comment just ignore them. I believe a lot more army love your reaction and your curiosity 💜💜 The genre? The genre is bts😂
Please don’t feel bad with what you don’t know- that’s what interests ARMY the most in watching reactions- watching baby ARMYS fall down the rabbit hole- we’ve all been on this journey so we KNOW! 💜🇦🇺
To be honest even ARMY have many theories what the music video is about. When BTS was filming the music video even they said they weren't sure what was going on. LOL. Also when you mentioned they only showed 2 or 3 members they actually had already showed 5 out of the 7 members at that point, don't worry you'll recognize them with time. Like others have mentioned there is another music video for ON that is more dance performance oriented called ON Kinetic Manifesto Come: Prima. I'm happy you reacted to this video though because in my opinion it's a bit underrated. Thanks again and can't wait to see more BTS reactions. And I know you guys are early in your journey but just recently Disney Plus added BTS concert from last year called Permission To Dance Onstage from LA at SoFi Stadium (the same stadium where the Super Bowl was at). They had 4 sold out shows there and Megan Thee Stallion did Butter with BTS. They also performed My Universe with Chris Martin of Coldplay on a different day so that performance isn't in the Disney Plus version. But it's an incredible concert, I've watched it 3 times already.
First, Thank You! for reading the comments on the other videos, and still continuing on your BTS journey! Yay! At the end of this video it said "No More Dream" - that was their first song back at debut in 2013. Now, changed to Dream. They never gave up and they're fighters. That insane range was Jungkook (their main vocalist and youngest on the team - just turned 25) and the note, according to another reactor, was an F5. They did use UCLA Marching Band and also a gospel choir for backing tracks on this. There is a 2nd version that is not a video but a singing/rapping and dancing only version (well, it's in a MV as ON, Kinetic Manifesto Coma Prima) and they performed that version Live at Grand Central Station in New York in early 2020 (just before pandemic). You may want to watch that also. In addition, there is a making of video with some interviews of others involved in the recording process, as well as behind the scenes of the guys filming both this MV and the Kinetic Manifesto one. Oh, and James Corden's Carpool Karoake where Jungkook hits that F5 live (and many other times as well). You haven't heard about them because radios in the U.S. anyway rarely play their music. There are whole analyses on that, but basically the music system as a whole (not just in the U.S.) has a lot of corruption. Anyway, they've grown organically Without the help of radio and such for the most part, because of people like you, me, and the rest of their ARMY (fan base) that truly see the talent and enjoy the music and dancing of these 7 unique, hard-working, chaotic, handsome, talented young men. Suggested MV's: MicDrop (Steve Aoki Remix) Black Swan Fire Dope Fake Love DNA Idol Other Suggestions: -2021 FESTA Room Live - a medley of about 7 or 8 of their B side songs from early on in their journey til 2021. Song titles on bottom left, but some are in Korean, and Album titles and picture on bottom right of screen just as each song starts. -House of Cards (Vocal Line only) - be sure to pick one with English Subtitles -The Truth Untold (Vocal Line only) - be sure to pick with English Subtitles -Cover of I'll Be Missing You (Puff Daddy, Faith Evans and Sting version) - BBC Radio 1 -Cover of Coldplay's "Fix You" - just them sitting in chairs singing (Live, but no audience since during pandemic) -Crystal Snow (Japanese song, Live) -Film Out (Japanese song, Live - I don't think subtitles are available but not positive) -Outro: Tear (Rap Line Only) - with English Subtitles -Ddaeng - two versions - Rap Line Only, and then one where the vocal line does the rapping (both Live), PLUS the Explanation video by DKDKTV as there is a lot of Korean word play in this one -Proof Live: 3 songs: Born Singer (adaptation of a J. Cole song Born Sinner), Yet to Come, and For Youth, with special guest in 2nd song. - My Universe (collab with Coldplay) - MV on Coldplay channel, and behind the scenes/making of showing Chris Martin going to Korea in the pandemic to record the song with BTS. Then there is a more recent behind the scenes (maybe a "Bangtan Bomb" on BangtanTV channel) sharing the guys making their parts of the MV with green screen. -"Run BTS" - no MV and no Live, so you'll have to "watch" a lyric video - color coded and fan made. This is off their 2nd CD from their recent album Proof. It's a new favorite of mine. :) FYI BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan, meaning Bulletproof Boyscouts. Some lyrics in this song say Run Bulletproof and they are singing that to each other, to keep on "running", which is how they got to where they are today. Truthfully, I don't know where to stop. lol Intro Videos: -A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7, by Taylor (up-to-date as of May 2022) -The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2022 Update) by Rice Squad -BTS//From Nobodies to Legends (2019) by xCeleste -This is BTS / Introduction to BTS by xCeleste (from 2 years ago) -This is BTS ARMY/Introduction to BTS fans by xCeleste (1 year ago) - Jungkook as The Main Vocalist of BTS by Ida S (2021 version) NOTE: I am suggesting this since he did that high note that impressed you in ON. The other 3 vocalists are also talented, but Jungkook has added roles in the group. -Rise of Bangtan - Episodes 1 through 21 (fan made documentary sharing BTS from beginning to present, I think (I haven't seen about the last 5 of these myself so not sure excactly where it stops) - Disney+ NOW has full video with English subtitles of one of their 4 sold out concerts from Los Angeles in November 2021 called Permission to Dance. It is so good and totally shows how they perform live. This one is over 2 hours long, but so worth watching even if it isn't a reaction (because you wouldn't be able to put that on RUclips anyway).
You gotta watch on kinetic manifesto... U will be blown by their choreography.. And also they all have excellent singing ranges... U should explore that too... Vocal line and rap line will amaze u beyong ur expectations
Since BTS took a lie-low on their activities and projects as group, we ARMYs do really want to continue spreading their music and talents through introducing them to reactors, friends and at the same time spread their message to every people we get a chance to share with. Diving into the depth of knowing BTS' music and personalities changed me to be better and see things I didn't knew existed in me before. They inspired me to be like them, staying positive despite the challenges and hate of others, accepting my flaws, staying humble however we live and succeed in life, to be understanding of others (of haters too) and also to always chase the dream, to listen to myself and to be a good example to others too.
great reaction guys!!! i'm really glad you enjoyed the song as well as the music video and i really can't wait for you guys to listen to more of their songs. here are some things i want to point out: - this song if off of the album "map of the soul 7" and it's based off of a theory from the swiss psycatrist carl jung. the song really is about getting back up regardless of how many times you fall, and the title is a direct reference to their 2013 song N.O. the video itlsef is full of symbolism and even most of us armys dont understand lol. i suggest you watch (even if on your own) an explanation video on it, i know that there are plenty out there; - bts has 4 vocalists: jimin (4:52); taehyung (5:05); jin (5:36) and jungkook (8:07). all of them are amazing vocalists, none of them serve as just backround singers as they each get their chance to shine. taehyung and jin are known for having the biggest ranges in the group and jungkook (the one that sang the really high falsetto part) is the main singer not only because his voice is beautiful but also because he has the most stable vocals when singing and dancing at the same time (though that doesnt take away from the rest of the guys' habilities); - if you want to see more of the vocals i suggest you watch their 2021 festa (a medley that they did of a buch of their b side tracks as a celebration for the group's 8 year anniversary) and the tiny desk concert where they performed three songs as well as their live performance of "the truth untold" perfomerd by the the 4 vocalists; - for future reactions i recommend black swan and fake love :)) (this was really long, i so sorry haha)
-Thank you for reacting to the official MV because it's so underrated. I mean I love the performance video(the Kinetic Manifesto Film that a lot of people recommend and love) but I think people should give more attention to the music video as well. -Now this music video is jam-packed with a lot of movie and Biblical references, as well as so much symbolism that go with the meaning of the song. You won't catch the references or symbolism because there's a lot going on....so I recommend the video "BTS ON MV Meaning Explained and Full analysis" by the channel "Bookish Theories". I also recommend "BTS - ON MV Explained By A Korean" by "DKDKTV" . I recommend these 2 videos as they will help you understand the song better because just watching the music video and reading the lyric translations is never enough when it comes to BTS songs. There's always a deeper meaning to their songs. Watching the MV will get you to understand the surface level meaning but you gotta dig deeper, and explanation videos help with the deep dives. . You will be blown away at how deep this song actually is. A lot of thought was put into the lyrics and MV. It is not easy to make a song based on a psychological concept and pull it off, but BTS pulled it off with this song.
You mentioned Suga ; he's the one at 7:00. He's credited with writing over 100 songs, and plays both guitar and piano. His dazzling solo MV Daechwita has over 350 million views. He plays a mad king! 😄 Since August 2020 they've done three songs completely in English, and they openly admit it was because they want to win a Grammy. Although they've been nominated twice, the first Korean act ever to be, they did not win. It's not hard to detect racism in this. A Korean film (Parasite) has won Best Film Oscar, and two weeks ago that Squid Game guy became the first one ever to win an Emmy for a non-English part, but so far Grammys have been short-sighted. They were put together as a group by their company, BigHit, after they joined as individuals between 2010 and 2012. At the time, BigHit was on the brink of bankruptcy. Fun fact : group leader Namjoon - the guy with the giraffe in the video - has an IQ of 148. He's the only one truly fluent in English, which he learned as a kid watching the sitcom Friends with subtitles. Dyeing their hair vivid Easter egg colors is a long-established KPop tradition, and didn't start with them. The guy running with the bound hands (Jungkook, the youngest) has taken up the drums recently. He's said that water he was standing waist-deep in was freezing and he was miserable. I hope I was able to answer some of your questions.
Creanme que BTS tiene incluso mucho más para mostrar, porfavor sigan reaccionando a ellos, sus MV y sus dance practice, todo es realmente genial, también sería genial si revisan sus presentaciones en vivo. Saludos desde Perú :)
The genre is Bts! All four vocalists can sing. They are like the Avengers of music! You'll see! It's broke all the "boyband" stereotypes. You should check out Bts Tiny desk performance.
The new songs live are insane, if u want to react: "born singer", for youth" and "yet to come" Run bts is a also a insane new song but they didnt sing live yet!
BTW the ending "No more dream" was there first debut song and they were about the difficulty of kids and expectations etc, so its a whole transition from 2013 of "no more dream" to then which is now "dream," gives you a broader meaning of BTS.......
The members (7 members) BTS -They debut in 2013, Kim Namjoon - Líder of the group and Rapper- (RM ) stage name Kim SeokJin - The older of the group and Vocalist -(Jin) stage name Min Yoongi - Rapper - (Suga) stage name Jung Hoseok- Rapper and Lider dance- (JHope) stage name Park Jimin- Vocalist -(Jimin) stage name Kim taehyung- Vocalist- (V) stage name Jeon JungKook - Vocalist - (JungKook)
Next you should definitely react to BTS " Blackswan" 😭 Also ON mv has two different versions, this one focuses more on the story telling while the other one "ON: kinetic manifesto film" focuses more on their dancing. If only y'all can, react to that other version as well .
Glad you enjoyed this so much and are starting to see a tiny bit of what BTS actually is. The ending screed "No more dream" is a reference to their debut song, which was an urgent appeal to young people (who in Korea are "locked in" to a treadmill of study eat study sleep in order to get into the best university they can and get a "secure" job which is in practice still almost impossible without connections). It pleads with young people to find their own dream and pursue their passion, whatever that may be - much more hip hop, completely different from this. Here, that reference to their roots fades simply to "Dream", very eloquently. MOST of their songs are in Korean with some English. ALL of those are deep and though-provoking. JK is the main singer and has the most stable voice when dancing (they all sing and dance live on stage). They can all sing, including the rappers (who each have their own self-produced and self-funded mixtapes released free for fans) and all of the vocalists have an incredible range from, in V's case, baritone to an seamless falsetto. Jimin has an incredible high timbre, incredible, often eliciting gaping jaws among new listeners.
The songs that army are going to recommend I urge you to watch a live performance instead of a music video I just feel like a live stage can truly show you how good of performers and artists they are rather than the music videos Also some songs may not have music videos or a live stage so I'm recommend watching a lyric video😅 songs I recommend: Tomorrow Jump Wishing on a Star (sowozoo performance) Danger Dionysus Blood sweat and tears Anpanman GoGo Dis-ease Ma city
Love it that you started your reactions with their mv and songs first before anything else :) Hope you will enjoy the BTS journey and learn about BTS as a group and the individuality of the members in a smooth and gradual flow 💜 Don't be overwhelmed with many suggestions from us fans, sometimes we are pushing too much to learn about the members ~watch this and that. BtS songs and mvs are really beautiful and inspiring, and I hope as you go through them you will be hooked into the BTS rabbit hole voluntarily 🤣 I miss genuine reactions to BTS artistry cause I see a lot of reactors now faking it/bored cause they are lost which video to watch or trying to please their viewers and watch anything BTS randomly. I observe that your reactions are good and would love to see more, keep it up and waiting for the nexts :)
Now please do watch the 2nd video of ON(kinetic menifesto)... It's only dance choreography and their vocal.. That bridge is my the youngest member it's JK(Jungkook)...
One of the most mind blowing things about BTS is that as AMAZING as they are in videos, the live version and presentations are WAY BETTER! 💜 They are PERFORMERS to the tea!
I’ve said this in the previous video but I’m seriously excited for you guys to go deeper into the rabbit hole. You’ve got 9-10 years worth of material to go through 😅 a loooot of songs and yes you’re going to be experiencing so much power from us ARMY haha. I won’t recommend anything cause 300+ already did lol i trust them enough to recommend the good stuff to you guys 💜see ya in the next video!
Haha…your intro faces…😳…🤣 That was cool including our comments. I made my recommendations in your last video so hope you’re keeping a list. Look forward to following your BTS journey. 💜👍
On actually has two music videos. This one is more cinematic and tells a story. The other one is On:Kinetic Manifesto and in my opinion it fits the song better.
Yes
Yes.. definitely On: Kinetic Manifesto is fits better.
I love this Mv but I agree that the manifesto film is an experience!
They sang this song on carpool karaoke with James Corden and JK still hit that high note perfectly 👌
While sitting in the car and never trying so hard woah🔥😱
G DRAGON KING ,
That intro was hilarious 😭 Do know that ARMYs are just genuinely invested in you learning more about the boys and appreciating them.

(I can't recommend Taylor's intro video enough.)
💜 Happy BTS journey 💜
- from a danish ARMY, age 45
And they refuse to pander to the Western music industry by making an English album. 💜
such a lovely comment and worded so well! i completely agree :D
Well said! Fellow 45 year old ARMY here as well!
Yeah because BTS don't believe in paid mediaplay, their success is genuine and hard won💜💜
11:57 you'll be surprised because all of them can hit the high notes and their vocal range is insane.
Ikr all 4 has very wide range
I wonder how they'll react to Jimin and Jin 🤣
Your Eyes Tell (live)
Film Out
Stay Gold
All good songs that showcase their vocals
Looking forward to more reactions
YASS
Truth untold, serendipity, stigma and many more
Too many to list lol
Don't forget to say they are in Japanese

ON era and their entire "Map Of The Soul: 7" album was made during a very hard time for the BTS members as a group, they were supposed to go on a break to rest and refresh their artistic talent right after this era after the stadium world tour but then COVID happened, the tour was cancelled and their plan was interrupted so they kept going by releasing Dynamite (which was a happy non planned accident) , then self made/produced BE album then Butter and Permission To Dance.. They kept releasing side projects and free songs as well during the pandemic and doing their thing cuz the world stopped and it needed joy.
This album is so deep, this is real BTS. I like this era of them.
And knowing that, Life Goes On will forever bring tears to my eyes when it plays. Especially with the video.
G DRAGON THE KING ,
Jungkook is the man your talking about with a very unique different range of voice. He is the youngest member and the main vocalist
of the group. Enjoy discovering bts more 💜
And perfect pitch! And each of the vocalists have their strengths.
8:10 that's Jungkook aka JK he's the main vocalist , lead dancer and sub rapper of the group
He's so damn talented and his vocal range and versatility is wide it's so damn amazing to listen to him sing .
Yes our Kooki
👌💯
Jimin is Lead Dancer
@@andreaforro7904 they’re both lead
Thank you :)
P.S: Anyway, for answer at some of your questions, the guys didn't know each other before been chosen by the label, so completely strangers at first.

It was shortly after their first major award that proved their worth to the world and they end up crying. That was the performance that made me a fan forever!
G DRAGON KING -
Hysterical edit at the beginning. 😂. I knew what would happen when this was said. Army has a lot of love for both BTS and I love new Army.
I would recommend watching their Festa 2021, it’s a combination of a couple of their songs. Just a preview of their older and recent songs till then.
Yess plzzz
Agree, they'll get to see some of their live singing/rapping too.
Yess!!!
Yeees !! It displays so much in a relatively short time video and you get to see so many different genres !
Yesss
BTS have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Since you were impressed with the vocal range of Jungkook (the one singing the high notes in this music video), you will be amazed when you discover the versatility of the other vocalists in the group. In their albums, they have sub-units where the rappers and vocalists showcase their talents through different songs. I highly recommend that you watch their LIVE performances, coz they are on a different level. Looking forward to more of your reaction videos and your journey to the BTS world.
THE INTRO TO THIS VIDEO WILL NEVER NOT MAKE ME LAUGH 😭😆 ITS THE * the moment they knew, they fucked up * (but not really) 😭😭😭
💜
I’m 57 too. My whole life is richer since listening to BTS.
💜
Blood sweat and tears is another great song with an amazing video aswell! Would love to see your reaction too it! Loved the reaction💜
I like both the mv's equally... This song made me army... And i remembered i listened it for 5 days continuously...
Its true though... The vibe is really different...
Thank you for reacting this and I would highly recommend 'The Guide of Seven Members of BTS' by Taylor .
Since you liked "My Universe", you should watch the behind scenes of them making the song. Chris Martin actually went to South Korea to record the song with BTS.
I love that behind the scenes video!
Please react to 'A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7' by Taylor. She did a really good job and and I'm sure you're gonna love to know more about them, so please react to that one!!💜
Yess!!
It is must do to help understand the group and it will help with your journey!!!

i literally discovered your channel a few hours ago, saw your 2 bts reactions and was excited for more so i subscribed and now you guys just posted haha super excited for y’all to dive in some more
i suggest black swan next!!
Black Swan, one of the new versions, would be an excellent choice.
When you’re ready for some live stages here are two excellent ones!
Outro: Tear (live with English subs) - this is the rap line and it was written by Suga when the band considered disbandment
ruclips.net/video/UDuaJGYe8EQ/видео.html
The Truth Untold (live stage mix with English lyrics) - this is a staged mix of the vocal line performing this song

Most of their mv's are small movies that tell a story, they are considered works of art not only their videos but also their music and lyrics.
I love how everyone's first thought when seeing the rock is "Ayo that's Pride Rock from Lion King?" XD
Pls react for their live performances
👍Stay gold
👍Your eyes will tell
👍Fix you cover by bts
👍 Serendipity live jimin solo act
👍 Butter grammy 2022 performance
And the 👍updated version of bts introduction
To know more about them 💜💜💜
Loved your honest reaction. Keep it up. You will definitely love the BTS journey. Stay tuned.
Here are some suggestions to react to
1)ON-Kinetic manifesto
2)Blood sweat and tears (based on 'Demian'. Several topics from the coming-of-age novel were portrayed in 'Blood, Sweat, and Tears'. The book follows a young boy's maturation as he grapples with good and evil, lightness and darkness, and forges alternatives to the ever-present corruption and suffering that he sees all around him)
3)Black Swan
4)Dope
5)your eyes tell
6)Louder than bombs
7)House of cards(vocal line)
8)Ddaeng (rap line)
9)Ddaeng explained by korean (DKDKTV)
Rewatching these reactions after seeing how far you guys have come today as army! 😭💜
Also hope you get to xceleste’s brief introduction to BTS along with the longer version recommended in the comment section which has been updated as of May of this year
BTS is even more impressive Live, Singing, dancing and rapping. Looking forward to more BTS. Enjoyed! Thank you!
Each member also have their solos. There is a guide to BTS by Taylor where she introduced the members and their solo songs too.
Yess
HAHAHA I'd forgotten about this intro and the things you said back when you had no idea, it's still so funny XD It's a trip watching these again for real
11:38 Thats the 'Main vocalist of BTS- JEON JUNGKOOOK (JK)'...💜👀
Everything you see in this video is real no cgi only on the fast growing trees towards the end. But every thing is real even the location
"Blood, Sweat & Tears" is definitely another masterpiece. Not only it has cinematic MV, but also its inspired by a book, "Damian" by Herman Hesse
Great intro...
For a variety:
Black Swan
Idol
Blood Sweat and Tears
I Need U
Jamais Vu
House of Cards
Mic Drop Steve Aioki remix
They performed this live on Jimmy Fallon at Grand Central Station- could you watch that to see the choreography? It’s amazing!
WOAH! jungkook's always center of attention his voice so clean and beautiful and i live for it
that man is jk the youngest and the main vocalist of the group he is the most talented person and he is prefect for everything🔥💯
This was a official mv for 'on' but they released the performance one before this mv 'on kinetic mamifesto film' you can check this one..

You still have to get to know them a lot.
They have more interesting lives than just music.
You won't wonder why people love them.
You will get wow ! many more times 🤩🤩
I prefer the ON Kinetic Manifesto because of the dancing. BTS has something for everyone.
I can imaging your faces watching the live performances of BTS OMG, you won't believe it. 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Also V has the widest range . Literally all 4 vocalists are insane
I was also going to suggest this. The song and the mini-doc work well as a single reaction.
I love that little documentary. It makes me tear up every time, in that "oh maybe I can have hope for humanity" way 💜
It is so fun seeing reactors learn about BTS. Here is the video I used to learn all their names.
ruclips.net/video/W4mmfzFazoI/видео.html
There are lots of videos of them on American talk shows which are huge fan favorites and a great way to learn about their personalities and a lot of fandom inside jokes.
I believe a lot more army love your reaction and your curiosity 💜💜
The genre? The genre is bts😂
If you want to know about the members, I highly recommend “A Guide to BTS: The Bangtan 7” by Taylor.
Suggested MV's:
MicDrop (Steve Aoki Remix)
Black Swan
Fire
Dope
Fake Love
DNA
Idol
Other Suggestions:
-2021 FESTA Room Live - a medley of about 7 or 8 of their B side songs from early on in their journey til 2021. Song titles on bottom left, but some are in Korean, and Album titles and picture on bottom right of screen just as each song starts.
-House of Cards (Vocal Line only) - be sure to pick one with English Subtitles
-The Truth Untold (Vocal Line only) - be sure to pick with English Subtitles
-Cover of I'll Be Missing You (Puff Daddy, Faith Evans and Sting version) - BBC Radio 1
-Cover of Coldplay's "Fix You" - just them sitting in chairs singing (Live, but no audience since during pandemic)
-Crystal Snow (Japanese song, Live)
-Film Out (Japanese song, Live - I don't think subtitles are available but not positive)
-Outro: Tear (Rap Line Only) - with English Subtitles
-Ddaeng - two versions - Rap Line Only, and then one where the vocal line does the rapping (both Live), PLUS the Explanation video by DKDKTV as there is a lot of Korean word play in this one
-Proof Live: 3 songs: Born Singer (adaptation of a J.
Truthfully, I don't know where to stop. lol

- Jungkook as The Main Vocalist of BTS by Ida S (2021 version) NOTE: I am suggesting this since he did that high note that impressed you in ON. The other 3 vocalists are also talented, but Jungkook has added roles in the group.
-Rise of Bangtan - Episodes 1 through 21 (fan made documentary sharing BTS from beginning to present, I think (I haven't seen about the last 5 of these myself so not sure excactly where it stops)
- Disney+ NOW has full video with English subtitles of one of their 4 sold out concerts from Los Angeles in November 2021 called Permission to Dance.
Well said! I agree! 💜
great reaction guys!!! i'm really glad you enjoyed the song as well as the music video and i really can't wait for you guys to listen to more of their songs. here are some things i want to point out:
- this song if off of the album "map of the soul 7" and it's based off of a theory from the swiss psycatrist carl jung. the song really is about getting back up regardless of how many times you fall, and the title is a direct reference to their 2013 song N.O. the video itlsef is full of symbolism and even most of us armys dont understand lol. i suggest you watch (even if on your own) an explanation video on it, i know that there are plenty out there;
- bts has 4 vocalists: jimin (4:52); taehyung (5:05); jin (5:36) and jungkook (8:07). all of them are amazing vocalists, none of them serve as just backround singers as they each get their chance to shine. taehyung and jin are known for having the biggest ranges in the group and jungkook (the one that sang the really high falsetto part) is the main singer not only because his voice is beautiful but also because he has the most stable vocals when singing and dancing at the same time (though that doesnt take away from the rest of the guys' habilities);
- if you want to see more of the vocals i suggest you watch their 2021 festa (a medley that they did of a buch of their b side tracks as a celebration for the group's 8 year anniversary) and the tiny desk concert where they performed three songs as well as their live performance of "the truth untold" perfomerd by the the 4 vocalists;
- for future reactions i recommend black swan and fake love :))
(this was really long, i so sorry haha)
It is not easy to make a song based on a psychological concept and pull it off, but BTS pulled it off with this song.
honestly appreciating the raw authentic reaction and the thing i really enjoy is getting to see the journey of y'all getting to know the group better!
You mentioned Suga ; he's the one at 7:00. He's credited with writing over 100 songs, and plays both guitar and piano. His dazzling solo MV Daechwita has over 350 million views. He plays a mad king! 😄
Since August 2020 they've done three songs completely in English, and they openly admit it was because they want to win a Grammy.
I like you guys, you seem to be genuine and truly curious to learn more. Thank you!
Creanme que BTS tiene incluso mucho más para mostrar, porfavor sigan reaccionando a ellos, sus MV y sus dance practice, todo es realmente genial, también sería genial si revisan sus presentaciones en vivo. Saludos desde Perú :)
This is an "old" video by now, but you have no idea how hard I laughed at that intro, the dramatic sound punches really got to me 🤣
Plzz watch black Swan... This will help you alot in surfing their other genre
The genre is Bts! All four vocalists can sing. They are like the Avengers of music! You'll see! It's broke all the "boyband" stereotypes. You should check out Bts Tiny desk performance.
The new songs live are insane, if u want to react: "born singer", for youth" and "yet to come"
Run bts is a also a insane new song but they didnt sing live yet!
yes, I'm here again marathoning your videos guys 💜🇧🇷
the intro killed me haha loved it!
yes they write, compose, produce their own music.
Oh please post every day or tell us the days you post 😭😭😭..am so excited for more content ❤️ subscribed❤️..love your energy guys
BTW the ending "No more dream" was there first debut song and they were about the difficulty of kids and expectations etc, so its a whole transition from 2013 of "no more dream" to then which is now "dream," gives you a broader meaning of BTS.......
The members (7 members) BTS -They debut in 2013,
Kim Namjoon - Líder of the group and Rapper- (RM ) stage name
Kim SeokJin - The older of the group and Vocalist -(Jin) stage name
Min Yoongi - Rapper - (Suga) stage name
Jung Hoseok- Rapper and Lider dance- (JHope) stage name
Park Jimin- Vocalist -(Jimin) stage name
Kim taehyung- Vocalist- (V) stage name
Jeon JungKook - Vocalist - (JungKook)
HI I'm Army of Argentina, 🇦🇷 thanks for your honesty reaction, i just subscribe and i wait for more ☺
Next you should definitely react to BTS " Blackswan" 😭
Also ON mv has two different versions, this one focuses more on the story telling while the other one "ON: kinetic manifesto film" focuses more on their dancing. If only y'all can, react to that other version as well .
IM SO EXCITED FOR YOU TO EXPLORE BTS MUSIC MORE !!!😍😍😍
Glad you enjoyed this so much and are starting to see a tiny bit of what BTS actually is.
Awesome commentary! Borahae 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜
The ending was amazing. Wasn't expecting that. Truly like a movie.
The songs that army are going to recommend I urge you to watch a live performance instead of a music video I just feel like a live stage can truly show you how good of performers and artists they are rather than the music videos
Also some songs may not have music videos or a live stage so I'm recommend watching a lyric video😅
songs I recommend:
Tomorrow
Jump
Wishing on a Star (sowozoo performance)
Danger
Dionysus
Blood sweat and tears
Anpanman
GoGo
Dis-ease
Ma city
WATCH /REACT TO THE "ON" KINETIC MANIFESTO..IT TRULY SHOWS THEIR FABULOUS TALENT AND HAS MORE OF AN IMPACT ON THEIR DANCE AND VOCALS🤗.
I think you guys should watch an introduction to the members, so u can recognize them better. I recommend Taylor's Guide to BTS members.
Good luck on your journey discovering BTS Discography. Its massive with 200++ songs.
Have a great day everyone!
Welcome to BTS Universe.
love this reaction!!! maybe you should react to bts best live vocals💜
They give hope,so meaningful vibes.
Oh they are all very talented
UCLA Marching band is the band playing in the song!
the dramatic intro is so funny lol... there's alot of us. You have experienced a bit of army now lol
