- This art experiment was super fun. It did not turn out exactly how I thought it would, but the result is still very pretty. The camera doesn't show the pearls very well in the light, but it shimmers when you look at it from different angles. Super fun to experiment around! Hope you enjoy the video! Even though I have fully stopped pouring, I still watch every video you make. I have been painting everyday for 2 years with watercolor, I stopped recording myself paint, even though I want to start up again but YES I still talk to myself while painting. It’s not instructional like I used to with pouring, mostly hyping myself up and telling my flowers how beautiful they are and how my colors pop pop pop!

It’s very unique it reminds me of a layered geode rock with multiple minerals running through it….I love how the pearl shows with its matching color and now we know we don’t always have to use black for them show💜💜
I am not sure I would have been brave enough to mix those colors but they look awesome together. THANK YOU FOR INSPIRING US!

I love to hear you are talking to yourself. Simply because I talk to myself when painting (and cleaning and else hahaha). It is a process and sometimes, that's what I feel, talking to myself gives me more creativity.

I love how the pearls sort of blended with the regular paint giving those slick stations while also softening the edges a bit.

I don't have a studio, but often talk to myself. Just part of growing up spending so much time alone as an only child. Our dogs and cats weren't very good conversationalists lol 😄
Oh and btw, my granddaughters are watching this with me and they are loving the colors and effect. Mixing paint so they can pour...you are an inspiration!

I'm so glad you did this Molly! I've been so curious myself how that might work out. I fell in love w the pearl paints after seeing your finished paintings. It's a bummer you can't see on camera what these paints actually accomplish once they're dry cuz they are stunning! I like the dark background myself but I think I'll try a wrecked one too. I don't think you know but you give us all a lil confidence to try things and i appreciate that. And yes i talk to myself too. 😅 My pup is sick of it. Lol! Have a wonderful day!😊
This attempt is great. There is a lot of action, plenty to look at, a great mix of colours, and all very balanced. I think you did good! I can see this dominating a big, light-filled office lobby, or placed somewhere an observer can sit and study the ebb and flow of colours. A waiting room, perhaps. You did good, girl!

I think it is beautiful, I love how the colors kept their lines. I actually like the blue "center" off center, lol. It loves kind of like walking into Abyss, if it was green, I'd say walking into a dark forest of trees. Love it!

Ohhhh! I love this. The composition is very organic to me & the colors make it whimsical… I absolutely love it. I know the pearlescents do work on different colors, I have used a blue base & a red base & they work. I also did a flip cup with paynes grey. But none were as pretty as this.
