Little videos like this are the ones (in my opinion) that could really make a difference for someone in rhe timea ahead. The supplies are inexpensive and it was simple to assemble. Too many people think they will house all their loved ones and aid all passers by in the end. But reality is that sardines only pack so tight. Thank you for the video Reverend.

Some 6 mm rope to use as tension braces make more stable. I can see so many uses for this temporary structure. Excellent work. Cheers from down under

This would also be a good way to hide valuable resources from overhead planes.I am glad I got to see my idea in the light of day.

Make long boxes with slots by cutting and bending that fencing you can slide and bend other fencing over with an inside lip to mount a base to get folks off the ground. Use bunge cords to hold everything together cover outside with tarp. You can always add an inner layer of insulation that reflectix. End panels made out of fencing leaving a lip on each end with one end having a vestubial to help keep warm air in and wind and rain out. You could use roll out bamboo over the fencing laid down has a base to give the base a nice floor structure has well.

I have been trying to contact you. Not to join your community but to pick your brain. You are very knowledgeable in the Word and off grid living. My wife and I have just encountered the truth within the last three years and are excited to see that others have also found the truth. Yah bless. Oh Yeah, My wife really enjoys Sister Kate. Shalom.

That would depend on the tree limbs. A large enough one would squash any improvised shelter. After hurricane Charlie the company that came to get the tree off my house dropped a tree limb through the top of my concrete septic tank (which was buried) The limb was about 8" in diameter at the big end and it went through it like a cannon ball.

You and I are like minded.I thought if I got homeless or wanted to homestead this would be my new house.I sat and figured out how to insulate with garbage bags filled with leaves and stacked outside of it.with another tarp over it or another set of cattle panels. What do u think?God is sending the same ideas and dreams to his children.

Very interesting. You could reinforce it with with some pvc pipe hoops or saplings tied together for a little more rigidity. Still a /very/ good ideal.

It also wouldn't take much to heat it. Say a can survival candle in a firepit (unless it was really really cold)

I think you mean 8 feet long. Yeah they are only $25 a piece at Tractor Supply - only problem is how to transport them. It's cheaper to get 50 feet of 4 foot wide welded fencing. Then you get 6 sections of 8 feet long at $10 a section instead of $25 a section. Also it comes rolled up so can be transported in a normal vehicle - not a pickup.

coroplast is cheap and rigid and translucent so will let some light thru....i wld put a blob of silicone on inside in a few spots...and u will find the 4x8 panels are abt 8 $ each...but because they are rigid....the structure is pretty SOLID and waterproof too
