I am a big fan of using what's in my stash. And, of course, I love Tim Holtz. He recently made a decision to step back and start making more of what he loves. And you are always my best inspiration. Thank you for this video and I love what you did. ❤
I just adore your art journal pages! I would also love seeing more videos with older supplies. I can appreciate the position makers are in trying to use products that are available. Sometimes we get so caught up in keeping up, we forget to use what we have!
As much as I try to use the older products... it's hard for me! I need to stay relevant as a content creator.. but it's nice to go back once in a while! In any case, you can always recreate what I do with things you have just by following the techniques.
Love it Vicky, & i love how the Oxide sprays mix & combine to make such beautiful shades & new combinations too. The top hat just finishes it off perfectly. TFS
What you said hit home. Too many times I have used a wet medium after using the distress inks or sprays and then I’m like oh no as the color comes off on the brush. Love this video. I now just want to get in the craft room!
Howdy Vicky, I, too, have been working to work with only old stuff to include rub ons. Unlike these that still worked by Tim Holtz - other brands didn't eek. What a lovely spread this turned out to be. HOpe your new year has started out well. And as always - thanks for sharing. Stay safe. Sending you a hug across the waters.
Thank you, thank you for doing journal pages with old supplies. I still have tons of paints, pens, stencils, etc I've had for years and really do not need to spend the $$ or storage space for new ones. I appreciate you so much, you are truly a special teacher, Vicky! Peace and Blessings from Texas USA ❤❤❤
Happy New Year Vicky! Every continued success on your channel. Lovely to have you back after your Christmas break with your family. Looking forward to all your new video tutorials. Thank you for giving!
I love your journal style . This year I am working through my stash so this is helpful. I sold most of my oxide sprays as I could not get them to work for me - but I think I have a few left so I am going to try again in my journal.😊
Love this page; love Tim Holtz. Wonder how many of your subscribers besides me, have a stash of his products just waiting to be used? Time to pull it out of a drawer. Thank you for the inspiration, Vicky.
Gosh I got some great ideas for using up my old rubons and people die cuts, I’m trying to make this year a “ use it up “ year so your video is welcomed
I’m a huge Tim Holtz fan and have hoarded all of the supplies you used in your layout! You’ve inspired me to break into these things and use them! I love it!
Thanks for this video. It was nice to see how to use some of the "old" stuff. I have this same stuff! Been wanting to use it and now I have the inspiration to do it.
Acho incrível como cria uma cena com várias imagens que aparentemente não estão conectadas, mas que no final fazem todo sentido, passam uma mensagem. Para🎉❤
Brilliant! I love that you used items from your stash. A good reminder to us all that items don't have to be brand new to be useful & fun! Love the top hat btw, the touch of whimsy is genius & elevates the page.
Happy 2025 Vicki. Much success to you in new year. What a great page. A reminder to us all that are craft room is a storehouse of treasure. A great page. Thank you.
You always amaze me with your creativity. This is such an interesting page. I love all the different techniques and supplies you used. You are so inspiring every time I watch you. Makes me want to start something right away. I've been purchasing quite a few of your new books from Stamperia. It's my favorite line of books to use. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤
I think a lot of us are feeling guilty/overwhelmed by our abundant stashes! (And still we buy more...) I just finished a three signature junk journal made using only Tim Holtz stuff I already have and papers in my stash. Not even a digital download. I have loads of TH fabric so used that for my cover and I finished it up yesterday. Tim's stuff is so timeless, nothing felt dated (although some items had to be nearly 20 years old.) Oddly enough, except for Paper Dolls and of course, Tim's stamps, none of the things you used on this page were part of this chunky journal. :) A. nd I could probably keep myself busy all year with the TH stuff I already own. However, I must confess I expect a Simon Says Stamp package today containing TH's new red collection of fat quarters. It's so beautiful, I could not resist...
I rarely do big ones these days but I am going through phases! I enjoy being able to make a page quickly and share it here without taking too much time 😂
Maybe use them as decorative acetate… on window cards or just cut around the images … you know they sell packs of printed acetates? Either as sheets or ephemera? You already have them 😂❤
It is lovely to see the old products. Please more of that.
You are so creative….It’s wonderful using items from our stash…instead of having to keep buying new stuff…thank you
This is great, I love the “use what you have” theme
I enjoy all of your work but loved seeing you use supplies other than Stamperia, took me right back! Also inspired me to use what I already have.
This is the time for using what we have, shop your stash as they say, and I’m here for it! Thank you for your inspo Vicky!

He was the inspiration behind this video, after his announcement I knew what I wanted to use 😂❤
Good evening, despite it being old equipment, it’s very pretty, I love it 😁😍

Love it! Thanks for the inspiration. Do you think you'll be using larger journals in your work? I sometimes struggle with larger canvases.
I rarely do big ones these days but I am going through phases! I enjoy being able to make a page quickly and share it here without taking too much time 😂

That removing of hat from groom was a personal attack 🤭
