Thanks for the mention! That enclosure looks great after adding the Jungle Dawn! A cool video to make would be setting up regius in a tall enclosure with lots of climbing opportunities
No problem at all mate I appreciate you letting me refrence your video. That would be a good experiment. I think i may try this as im planning on a GTP in the future so I could utilise that tank and compare behaviour between setups. Thanks again mate loving your videos at the moment. What do you use or suggest as a secondary heat source that doesn't produce light? Thanks again 👍
@@JonsRainforestRoom if it's just a secondary heat source just to raise ambient air temps then a guarded ceramic on a thermostat works well, in larger enclosures a microclimate AHS works well. Both of these can be reduced or even turned off at night.
@@ReptilesandResearch thats good to know as thats what I use in most setups. Just checking if that was the best option and no better equipment out there that would benefit the animals 👍

@@JonsRainforestRoom thanks that means alot :) So important to try and recreate the wild as much as poss. Being an arid species people sometimes think its a case of chucking a load of sand based substrate in and they're good to go. However in the wild Beardies will inhabit woodlands and scrublands also, so really important that keepers look at their natural habitats in detail when setting up enclosures. Thank goodness keepers are now stepping away from the days of sterile vivs and providing a wonderful space for these animals.

Can this LED be put on a dimmer?
I know there is a 51 watt aswell. Would that work better?
So would this be better then my arcadia Pro t5 for my veiled? Could I use both or would this replace it? I need to get a new t5 bulb this week anyway. Thanks
Wait you got this just for the plants didn't you lol? Bedtime me thinks 🤔
Hey thanks for watching. The T5 would still be needed for your cham but the jungle dawn is more for plant growth 👍

I got it from my local reptile shop but I couldn't find it on amazon UK either. Any of the big online reptile shops will stock it though 👍
