Probably the best seminar I've ever seen on moments vrs conditions.... Helped me tons.. And have watched this video more then 5 times... I hope you make more like this... I have learned more from you and Matt Stefan in 1 year then 20 years of fishing... Thanks bud
Thanks for putting this up. If all else fails move around and find fish and pay attention to what they are keyed on to locate more of them is always relevant no matter where you fish. 👍
Ben, that was an absolute clinic. The information you shared is information people would take a lifetime to learn or would have to pay a guide substantial money to grab some of those nuggets that you passed along to everybody in this video. I enjoy watching you put these together, as I do know that you're ultimate passion is smallmouth and you know a ton about the subject matter. Thanks for sharing. I watched while I rigged up rods for a week of fishing here in northern Maine. You can bet I'll be putting some of this information to good use over the next 7 days. :-)
Heading to Windermere Lake in Ontario this week. Coming from Va I have 0 smallie experience and don’t think I’ll be taking my rig so I’ll have limited electronics. But seems like you can catch them good without all the fancy stuff
That was excellent! Thank you for taking the time to do it. It would be nice to get a fall and spring smallmouth movement seminar when the seasons come up.
Hey Ben have you checked out Achigan clothes? It’s actually an Ojibwa word for bass (“one who fights”) referring to specifically smallies. Local company pretty awesome.
I don't have 10 k in electronics so I will drop swim or drift a swim bait to find fish, I also don't have a 4k trolling motor with spot lock so want to save my energy for holding position once I find fish manually with my trolling motor. Don't think you need 15 k in gear to find and stay on fish though, just have to old school it to find and stay on fish. I fish tournaments here in NY and have no issue fishing against people with 80k bass boats using these techniques, because knowledge and the ability to use what you have the best you can, will always out fish money and ignorance.
You know you’re watching a good video about smallmouth when they say pop rather than saying soda!! Yes sir

Thank you Nick. I really try to share everything I know to help people have more success on the water. Hopefully you have an awesome week of fishing
You should definitely do a deep water smallmouth seminar. Every time I try to fish deep water structures I just catch walleye
what the hell is wrong with catching wall eye, lol. Good Eats!

24:15 L O L so what you’re trying to say is, the fish will be everywhere? That’s a very long way to say that.
Thanks man!! Good stuff
Great overview bud..

What is the spelling of the cooler you are plugging
Is this good for all lakes or just up north?
I’d argue anywhere you have smallmouth
Can we get a copy of the PowerPoint?
Yes, I’ll try to make them accessible this week
what about smallmouth trout eaters?
I don’t have a ton of experience around trout eaters but from what I’ve seen it’s a very small window
Pop? You are so mid west! 😜🤣
Haha yessir. Very Midwest
