Good to hear Aussie slang on bee videos. Also seeing a beekeeper who isn't trying to sell stuff, just showing how mad life and our experiences can be. I will continue watching so please keep videoing.
I have the large syrup feeders. I found the corner access ports do drown bees. I stopped that by inserting some plastic screen mesh strip in each corner behind the plastic shourd. This works really well. I agree with the drip feeder observation. I tried a few. They constantly drip onto the bees. Thanks for a great show as usual. The young bloke is a skilled camera operator
2:30 lol I'm looking at a Bee Jacuzzi, I was thinking that you had new upgrades for the Beverley hill Fridge bees :). That was some cool stuff, great people are sending you stuff to try out. I went and checked their Website out so it works LOL! Great Video.
I saw a video about six months ago he was using a 55 gallon barrel to make his syrup and he was using a trolling boat motor to mix his syrup, it worked great .
Some things to try Try filling a 20 litre bucket with hot water out the tap and sugar what ever ratio you like give it a stir and let it sit over night turns out perfect without the need for boiling with the burner and Woolworths or Coles has sugar for less than a dollar a kilo bet you paid more for that big bag. But the big bags are convenient.
Nice products you got. How fun to try them and see what Round-comb honey looks like.. I had wondered if you had a feeding system.. You seem to have fun at everything you do.. Thanks for taking us along.. :)
use castor sugar it dissolves in cold water very fast.... just give it a stir .. those big 200lt olive drums are cheap.. put a honey gate in the bottom to drain... whalahh
@ The Bush Bee Man..... Quick question.. Why use refined sugar that’s been used and abused to an inch of its life and not brown/raw sugar that still has minerals etc? Keep up the great work..
I know you're a bit of a stirrer, lol, BUT, make yourself up a stirrer to sit on top of the pot. When I worked in a soft drink factory we used to mount a portable stirrer on top of the vat to dissolve a shit load of sugar into not much water, without any heat whatsoever. Mark, Mark....... Know what that is? A dog with a hare lip..... Mark, Mark..... Oops......

We use a canoe oar to stir our big cooking pots here in South Louisiana, USA.

David Reilly brown sugar has molasses in it and gives the bees the squirts. Raw sugar is used as a dry feed for bees.
Daniel Martin thanks for the info 👍🏼. Can’t have the 🐝 making 💩🍯
