This is not a list of the best and worst neighborhoods in Calgary. No one who's ever lived, worked or even driven through the east side of the city would describe any of those neighborhoods as the best parts of Calgary. They are in fact the worst neighborhoods in Calgary. The reason that their prices when expressed as percentages have gone up is because the prices were so low they had no where else to go. I think it's important that people who may be watching this video from outside of Calgary and who may be considering moving here know that you absolutely do not want to move into the neighborhoods listed here as the "best" neighborhoods in Calgary. Some of them are absolutely terrifying.
Thanks for commenting. No one said this was a list of the best and worst places to live. I clearly stated that it is based on the best and worst value increases or decreases. Thanks for watching!

@@JustChris77 The S.W. is the safest followed closely by the N.W. The S.E is less safe and becomes more unsafe as it nears he N.E. which is basically hell. If you are considering moving to Calgary and would like to avoid bad things like hail, stabbings and low property prices you want to stay as far from the N.E. as possible.
The best neighborhoods. LOL. People are in Forest Heights and Penbrooke because it's cheap and anyone with a bit of money will avoid those neighborhoods.
What do you think is better community to build a new home. Rockland Park vs Alpine Park vs Rangeview?

These are the best and worst neighbourhoods based on appreciation over last year. What would you say are the best neighbourhoods?
@@ChamberlainGroup I'd say the best neighborhoods would have lower crime rates. I've been in Calgary my whole life and those are two areas to avoid.
