@@stary_kartofel2137 sneaking on a slime block stopping the player from bouncing is an intended feature, it's just that taking fall damage from this was a bug
Thanks for showcasing the patch notes so quickly! Nice to see Pale Hanging Moss requiring Shears or Silk Touch, helps a surprising amount with inventory & adds utility to Shears.
Really nice change to the slime block, it definitely feels like a natrual additon and will be useful for sure! The bugfix with the end gateways is also nice, I'm always paranoid when throwing pearls into them :) Thanks for the update video!
That slime block change will probably mess up a lot of experienced players for a while (myself included, I imagine) but I think it makes slime blocks much more intuitive and convenient!
Can't wait for those bundles! It's gonna be so nice to go caving and not have to worry about running out of inventory space just because I picked up some flint, andesite, gunpowder, and 65 raw copper along the way.

Bro, they need to add new flowers growing on the hanging moss and on the floot in the pale garden biome. If they add the flowers then they should make them look like the creaking's eyes
as a parkour speedrunner, i am shocked to see sneaking on slimes giving fall damage is being removed, it was treated as "works as intended" for years, and now its gone. slimeglitches has been the biggest feature in parkour speedrunning, and now the most efficient way of doing it is being removed. can we atleast get an explanation to why mojang changed their mind about it not being a bug?
Coming from someone who has made maps utilizing slime glitches: probably because most players are not glitch parkour speedrunners and are happier with it this way. You can tell this change is good from other comments on this video. This reminds me of XKCD spacebar heating

Slime Block bugs have been around for like 10 years and now they fix them? Why such things take so long when you can just easily put a fix out one update after the feature came out
@@MarianzYT because they have other priorities, sure they can just go ahead and fix that bug, but if that bug isnt really bothering anyone then its much better to focus on more important stuff like adding new features or fixing more damaging bugs Fixes for small bugs like this one doesnt happens as often, but honestly i cant tell how they judge when its time to fix a really old bug or not
@@ztxgust4voxd Sorry but the new features feel shallow and pointless at times, I would prefer them fixing old bugs instead of adding pointless stuff that has no depth and only get enhanced like 3 or 4 updates ahead. That approach is just bad for me, why bothering adding Archaeology if there is almost nothing interesting to get from it, and the only group of people that get a feature in that case is the builder side with the Pottery Sherds, nothing more.
What’s the gameplay incentive for the Pale Garden? Is there some sort of risk/reward factor for going there to get some kind of loot only found there? Or is it just for the trees?
Currently, you don't actually get anything besides the encounter from going there at night, other than I guess that it easier to find their hearts when the Creakings are out. It will be interesting to see if this changes before the Winter Drop is done.
Snapshots are usually released once every week (Wednesday). Pre Releases are released when the update is almost finished and do not really follow a schedule. When the update is even more finished, a release candidate comes put.
What the first reply said. Also experiments are usually features they include that you can enable during world gen that aren't ready for a full release yet but that they want people to be able to test.
Is there going to be more content with the winter drop after bundles of bravery releases or is it just whats in it now (or is it a secret🤔) Love the new biome!
@@Margeletto i hate to critisize mojang but like they should add more features to the pale garden like new Type of pale plants or something like they just gave us one snapshot and said screw this crap im out
In summary: pre-release cycle is doing its thing - fixing last minute recent change-introduced bugs... that's all good :) but behind the "experiments" button - the _next release_ is teasing us with some probable future ideas, for feedback and general initial public beta testing. Now one _could_ argue the slime block change is a "new feature", but equally one could [I certainly would :)] argue this was always a bug/bad design as pressing sneak is in essence a "fine movement control" button, so this is really a control consistency fix.
@@IngieKerr yeah I did see the slime thing to be a new feature but I guess it can also be seen as a bug fix. Just find it weird regardless that we’re getting so many new features in a minor release
@@rodrigoleitao25 I think that's because of their intended shift to "drops" ... as meaning exactly this; that their increased cadence will necessarily mean that new features come quarterly rather than yearly - so behind the experimental button, there'll always be something new to be trying out. But instead we're watching these because we're far too curious for that sorta thing :D I think this is a _feature_ [for better or worse] of folks these days wanting [or shouting for] more/earlier feedback on future updates... and the only way of doing that sensible is to show more of the workings going on "behind the curtain" as it were. I don't judge that desire from players, as its understandable. But it does necessarily bring with it some extra noise into the mix.

IMO if you use the marketing term "drop" for these, you should at least explain what it means.
Jump not eating is nice but crouch is extreme concerning change. A heavy used obscure mechanic in some paurcore maps uses damage & a bounce while sneaking (from over 5 blocks up) when doing a head hitter (block above & below / a last tick jump) that gives you more height rather than less. I also like the danger but more concerned about the enjoyment i gotten from this chaotic fun useful glitch. Block has so much less character & essentially now replaces the useful functionality of hay bales with a upgrade with no intresting downside of the bounce Context: ruclips.net/video/jnrlPcVjWoU/видео.htmlsi
