    I like that Karl has fun with his practice sessions. A lot of times kids parents make them practice and grind and they don't enjoy it. It's good to see Karl enjoy practice.

    Great to see your progress since the first time meeting you and your Dad at The Dunes, Rye, Victoria, Australia. I think you were 6 years old and your dad had the belief in you and I can see you now have a healthy belief in yourself. Also great to see your ability to communicate what you are doing in natural way.
    Jason Day played one of his last Amateur Tournaments at the Dunes around that time and again I saw a super star in the making.
    Keep up your love of the game and of life and happy times ahead for you and your Dad.
    Please check out these RUclips Links on "Mind Training" as is being used by Jason Day today. When you want to check out this area on "Mind Training" using FocusBand to measure your progress, let me know. I have had the good fortune to be learning directly from Graham Boulton, developer of the FocusBand over the last 4 + years. I have written a new book - "The 7 Secrets to Mind Control Golf" Let me know if you would like a copy,
    Keep doing great and having fun - your journey is well underway.

      +Peter Croker Hi Peter, great to hear from you and thanks for following Karl's golfing odyssey.
      Actually, the first time you met Karl was when he was 8 years old and at Sanctuary Cove.
      We then met you when Karl was 11 years old at The Dunes, and also, of course, at Sandringham Driving Range where Jonathan Porter coached him.
      You were one of first coaches to try to get players to believe in themselves- something which I got highly criticised for by the golfing hierarchy back in Australia for daring to get Karl to believe that nothing was impossible and that if someone was going to the best in the world for his age that it could be him if he worked hard enough towards that.
      Your theories were right all along, as Karl is still #1 for his age yet again this year and now ranked #32 on the Polo rankings for all players not yet in college.www.ajga.org/rankingdbfullscreen/index.asp
      Hope you're well mate.
      Cheers

    How does Karl get so good with not practicing daily?
    I'm a Sophomore in high school, practice about 6 days a week usually in the summer, and am about a 1 handicap. I practice my short game a ton, but am known for my ball striking. Yet sometimes I go into stretches where I feel as if I cannot strike the ball well at all? I'd like to play a national schedule like Karl before my senior year, but I'm not sure how to get there. Any advice?

    Hi id just like to ask about a problem ive been having lately and wondered how Karl deals with it. So basically lately ive played quite allot of golf and im constantly suffering with blisters and cuts all over my right hand. Is there any way to prevent this? and how does Karl deal with it?...if he gets them.

    • @KarlGolf
      @KarlGolf  9 лет назад

      Chris golf It can be either the fact that your season is just starting and your hands had become soft over winter, or it could be the grip or the fact that you are hitting off a rock hard range.
      Karl carries bandaids in his bag to deal with this sort of thing.

    • @KarlGolf
      @KarlGolf  9 лет назад

      BJB I answer this question a lot. There are a whole bunch of reasons. Karl gets fitted at the same place where many of the tour players get fitted and they confirmed that Karl's carry is further than a lot of players, including guys who have won this past year and another who had been a World # 1 just 3 years ago.
      Once Karl's back at school we'll do a video and include other people who can explain it better than I can.

      Phillip Shockley The swing is always evolving and juniors grow and their swing speed increases. I also think that Karl's swing has changed slightly, but he's very happy with it.
