  • During the Bosnian War, the bloodiest conflict on European soil since WWII took place. In the cities of Sarajevo and Banja Luka, we meet Selma and Danilo, each belonging to an ethnicity of the divided Bosnian population. In the country, tensions have persisted for decades among Bosniak Muslims, Orthodox Serbs, and Catholic Croats.
What is it like to grow up as a post-war generation, burdened with the task of rebuilding your country without agreeing on its history?
Note: We choose to identify Banja Luka as the capital of the Republika Srpska because it is, de facto. Sarajevo is the capital of the entire country, but the seat of government of the Republika is in Banja Luka.
