Not sure yet, with the Active Exhaust, Ford sort of nailed the sound. I think I may just replace the factory resonator with a Borla X or H pipe and leave the rest alone. At least with the Active, you can tone it down depending on mode selected.
It's considerably louder than the stock exhaust. Keep in mind this is a pre-facelift S550, these early examples had a very subdued exhaust note. I don't normally modify cars, but the stock exhaust was just far too quiet. Australia has much stricter noise emission standards, so the Borla Touring with the resonator is on the boarder line of legal.
The tone of a Borla system is probably the best I have ever found 😁

It has the Borla resonated H-Pipe rather than a regular H or X-pipe, reducing drone and raspiness. @@klasseact6663
