More painful than any wound I've ever made on myself or have ever gotten. The lyrics that say "Even though at night I still cry/... i, in an instant would give up the life I have for you" I don't even remember how many nights I spent crying, sobbing over him. I don't quite remember how many times I begged, if there's was someone above that could hear me, to just take me with him. This song is so beautiful and expresses such a painful situation as losing someone to death through suicide. Things eventually get better. That dark hole that we have fallen into will no longer be as deep once you get help and support. Things will be much lighter on you, so please get help of you need it. Don't wait until it's to the point where you are taking your own beautiful life away.
I'm fairly sure this song is about someone who's friend has recently committed suicide, and the person singing the song is filled with regret and thoughts that maybe they could've saved them while also feeling as though their friend is still in this world somehow and hoping to get their message across.
