The rawness and realism is what made this movie so damn great. No silly dramatic "scary" music, no overproduced flashy hollywood bullshit, no trace of stupid unnecessary gore etc. It almost feels like a documentary instead of a movie. The soundtrack itself is an clear example of this great quality. Raw industrial ambient soundscape of pure nameless terror, with eerie country tracks like this one thrown in here and there. A truly great piece of work.

Damn! How in the world could I forget 1973! As a South Texan we ate BBQ and had lots of beef bones laying around our farm house!

Texas Chain Saw Massacre: what a great fuckin film.. so dirty and realistic it always makes me feel like I need a shower by the end..I.really wish there was a proper Soundtrack LP with all the weird jarring background music and the great creepy old honky tonk songs like this one and the other one by Arkey Blue, 'Misty Hours Of Daylight'.That one is currently only available on a rare and expensive 7" single..
The best song in the movie! I'm search for the songs by "Timberline Rose" and "Los Cyclones", because the other three songs (this one, fool for a blonde and the other by Arkey Blue) are in youtube.
