When I was in high school, "Race with the Devil" was a cult classic for me and my friends. We wanted to do a cover of this song in our band, thinking it was just made up for the movie...it's nice to hear all the verses crystal-clear. :D

Great movie. The creepy part in that scene is when the steel guitar gives the girl an evil look. She knew he was probably one of the devil worshippers.
Yes! It's like every person they run into across the Texas panhandle is a devil worshipper! Seriously. Oh, and the steel guitar player always reminds me on Harvey Keitel. Check him out.
