Absolutely we recommend pairing Scarlet with PDO threads. Scarlet is "spicy" but we use a specially formulated medical numbing cream and give our patients pro-nox during their treatment to help with any discomfort. We control the settings so it does not melt fat. Agnes RF is what we use to permanently eliminate fat.

How is Scarlett or Agnes different than the Morpheus 8 please?

Scarlet SRF is the device that is comparable to Morpheus8 (Agnes is completely different from both). We looked at Morpheus when we were researching microneedling rf devices and we chose not to bring it to our practice because we didn't like the results and the patients were in a lot of pain. When the treatment requires a series for best results, it is more difficult to get patients to finish their treatment series if it's a painful experience. Scarlet uses tapered needles which is more comfortable for patients. The downtime from Morpheus is much worse than Scarlet. After Scarlet there's a wind burned appearance but that goes away in a few hours to a day versus the bleeding, scabbing and potential for scarring from Morpheus. Scarlet delivers RF to every layer of the skin, Morpheus does not. Scarlet treatments are more consistent and precise, making the results predictable. If you have the choice, always go with Scarlet.
